Anyone read Uglies? I know it's not a vampire book, but I think it's a rather interesting book, for all the sci-fi stuff. It's unique and the main character is on of my favorite characters. She has some depth, even if she is slightly vain, but keeps on working towards her goals even when she has a tough choice to make. The operation thing where people change from an Ugly to a Pretty is one of the main things that drew me in. These are one of my favorite series and anyone who enjoys sci-fi should read it.
