Hp: 11/11 Mp: 8/10 "Watch your back Maelthra. Who knows what they're capable of," uttered Blade while drawing his sword. Narrowing his eyes a bit at the opposing duo, he decided to keep his distance for the time being. She had a staff, so it might be a bit difficult to get close enough to land many melee blows. So, after closing his eyes for a moment, he quickly thrusted out a palm, sending out a wave of heat straight for Poke. Quote: Heat Blast - Poke Damage: 2 link

Hp:10/10 Mp: 10/12 "Don't worry about it. We got this." Just after Blade made his attack, Maelthra decided to follow suit. Though instead of focus firing on Poke, he decided to go after the Kulgenki instead. Taking in a deep breath, he soon exhaled hard, sending a similar wave of heat towards the serpent-like creature. Hp: 10/12 Mp: 9 / 11 "Oh, hey wait a sec - ARGH!" Poke had been hit with few magical spells in her time, having learnt to stay away from anyone with kulgenki. This was was a new, and painfull, experience. "Focus poke!" Varun called out. "Try one of your elemental abilities!" "My wha?" poke called back, rubbing her stomach where th attack had hit her. Apparently she had elemental attacks now, but was still in practise of using them. "Okay fine! umm.. lets see if I remember correctly..." She charged forwards, her mind concentraing on her enegies in order to create the water she needed. Pointing her palm dowards, she created a jet of water which she jumped onto in order to fly directly at her opponent Quote: Water Rush - Blade Damage: - 2 link

HP: 13 |MP: 12 Varun hadn't been prepared for his attack either, but he had stamina, so the blow seemed to bounce off his scales. His ear fins erected to make him look more intimidating, he flew forwards, a few feet of the ground in a direct charge. Hp: 9/11 Mp: 8/10 Soon after he and Maelthra had unleashed the heat on their opponents, Blade glanced to the side as if about to say something. But just as he did this, he noticed Poke coming at him at an alarming speed. He tried to move out of the way, but she had still knocked into him enough to spin him around. "Ugh..." he said while shaking his head. While she was still close, he swung up his sword to try and slice into her. Hp:7/10 Mp: 6/12 Maelthra was too busy to notice Blade's attempt to speak to him, but he noted that his attack didn't do as much damage as it could have. It seemed that his opponent was of the water element, though just looking at him could have told him that to an extent he supposed. "Agh!" His speculation caused him to completely not notice that Varun had come up and bit him. "Get away from me!" he shouted as he beat his wings hard to try and blast the serpent away. Hp: 6/12 Mp: 9/11 "uck...." poke stoped, her body paused as it just realised what had happened. She looked down to see the sword had embedded itself in her right side. She could even see some blood leaking onto her shirt. 8/13 A screech left varun as he was thrown backwards by the force of Maelthra's attack. Shaking his head to compose himself, he then charged forwards again for another bite. Hp: 4/11 Mp: 6/10 Stunned - 1 turn remaining Blade felt his weapon sink into Poke's body, but it was merely fractions of a second before he felt something hit him on the side of the head. The heavy blow knocked him down to the ground and it left quite the headache. With a groan, he slowly pushed himself to his feet, but he couldn't think straight. Or see straight for that matter. Hp: 6/10 Mp: 2/12 There was something satisfying about seeing his opponent being blasted away like that, but he didn't have time to rejoice as he was under attack once again. This time, Varun's jaw just brushed against his scales, as Maelthra jumped to the side. Hearing a groan from behind, he saw his Humakin partner staggering about. It seemed that Blade was not in such a good condition. In an attempt to buy them both some time, he exhaled. Black smoke billowed out from his nose and around the battle field. Hp: 4/12 Mp: 9/11 Bleed: 1 turn left Kneeling on the ground, poke could see blade stagger about, and then his shadow lengthened in order to strike her. She jumped to the side in order to escape the worst of it. Looking behind she could see a small blood train from her wound. Not good. Varun looked around to see where poke was, and was stunned to see a large wound in her side. Hp: 2/11 Mp: 6/10 Stunned: 0 turns remaining ((You're no longer bleeding next turn. o-o)) "Ugh!" Still dazed, he barely noticed Poke coming at him again. He managed to avoid a part of the blow, but it still smacked him good in the side of his arm. Over all, Blade wasn't sure how much longer he could keep this up.
