Of course we all have to start off with a manga and anime right? So tell me, what were your first?

I guess I'll start it off. Okay, so I've been into anime as far back as I can image, but I've only gotten into manga around 4th grade. I've actually started with "Pokemon", and became a HUGE fan of it. And I've stuck with Nyaph the god throughout years of anime-loving so I wouldn't forget what I have today. And, to tell the truth, I was actually first introduced to manga by my neighbor! She actually picked up a "Fruits Basket" manga from a Books-a-Million store, and I just had to read a couple pages since it reminded me of Sailor Moon and Pokemon art designs, and that got me hooked! Before I knew it, I was devouring manga after manga! So yeah, I never finished the "Fruits Basket" series, but I just got introduced to many, many more!
[I'm sorry for the LONG post, and I'll try to refrain myself from doing any other long ones like this. . . ]

my first anime i don't really remember... but i think it might have been Sailor Moon or Pokemon
but i do remember my first manga!!! Loveless!!!! whee

My first anime was sailor moon. I watched the whole thing once I figured out that you can watch for free online. But then I found out it was really japanese and there are more seasons. So I rewatched the whole thing with subs, and then moved on to the other seasons. I was really bored that summer, lol.
First manga...hmmm, I honestly can't remember. Ouran maybe? Skip beat? Tokyo Crazy Paradise? One of those probably.

[Oh and I dont count Pokemon&Sailor Moon as my first since it was dub's on TV years ago. xD

My first anime was Sailor Moon (no suprise there!) My first manga was probably shonen jump if it even counts as one since it's a whole bunch of them. I started reading it when i stole it from my brothers room, lol. He's still looking for it. >.>

My first anime was Sailor Moon, as the usual. My first manga was Cardcaptor Sakura. I was really little back then... sweatdrop

My first anime was Sailor Moon.. Haha. sweatdrop A popular one, it seems. I started watching it when I was 2, and it was my favorite for YEARS.. All the other girls in my kindergarden class loved it, too, but if you asked them now they'd probably deny it and say something along the lines of, "Anime is for geeks." Most of them are preps now, so..
My first manga? Hm, that's a tough one.. I really can't remember. I think my first actual MANGA was Inuyasha vol. 22 that I begged for when I was 7 ( I really liked the anime at the time, ) and then I think my first manga when I started reading whole series' was either Ouran High, Hana Kimi, or Naruto..
Oh, then I remember Card Captors here and there in my childhood.

First anime I ever watched was pokemon too (currently re-watching all the seasons). I didn't actually know it was anime at the time; i just thought it was amusing. After that, I saw other animes (still unaware of what it was) and once I got older, the girl across the street explained it all to me and thats when I got into manga. I'd have to say that my favorite anime is Escaflowne. Unfortunatly, when ever I wanna talk about it, very few people know what I am talking about. I prefer the t.v series to the movie. I like alot of old school anime like Monster Rancher, Sailor Moon (saw EVERY episode including the non translated season), Pokemon, and Digimon. Medabots was pretty cool too. Some of the newer stuff that I enjoy is Fruits Basket, Skip beat, Tail of the Moon, Zatch Bell, Vampire Knight, and a whole whack of other stuff. Now I am more into the Shoujo/yaoi/smut unlike when I was younger and watched more Shoujen. Does anyone one know of Escaflowne? sad

when i was little i'd sorta watch things like Cardcaptor and Pokemon, but they don't really count because i didn't actually know what i was watching at the time.
then a few years ago i got into Naruto after seeing an AMV of it to the music of Let the Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool. after thinking "OMG that is sooooo COOL" i ended up watching it from an episode that was half way through sweatdrop
my first manga was Shrine of the Morning Mist which i had ordered through my school library about two/three years ago.
