My housemate is a huuuuuuge FMA fan. Frightening really. But she got me into the show. she's seen the whole series and movie(s) subbed. She says it gets better in the second half. biggrin
I STARTED WATCHING THIS WHEN JAPAN WAS ON EPISODE 4 SO THAT MAKES ME A BETTER FAN THAT THE REST OF YOU.

It is, but I love both halves of the series.
Oh, and quick general question: Spoiler tags are necessary, I'm assuming, but for how far into the series? Can we assume people have seen up to where CN has showed it (episode 25, I believe)?
Yeah that pissed me off. It was like fan disservice. Not that it could be compared to fan service really, but you know what I mean. It says something though that I could get worked up over it. biggrin

Yeah, the best entertainment has parts you don't like. It fuels the other half of your emotions- pity, fear, disgust, anger, sadness, etc. Rather than joy and stuff. xp
I've been a fan of the manga since it was announced there would be an anime. TOP THAT! surprised
NOT TO MENTION MY OROBORUS!
Not that I could actually read it, since it was untranslated Japanese... but still. sweatdrop
Full series complete. Second box comes out next week.

However, despite how sad that episode was, it still remains one of the best episodes in the series, in my opinion. Just that scene with Mustang at the end and Elysia. Great, if really sad, episode. That and probably episode 40 where
