well the only place to get them is in zen garden and buy them in marketplace but unless you want to do a mission you must get them from zen garden

Wierd, I've killed at least 50 of the drums & have yet to find even 1 music note. sad

I am gonna take a wild guess and say you get them from the Taiko drums in Zen Gardens? Lolz

Wierd, I've killed at least 50 of the drums & have yet to find even 1 music note.

Just be patient, little grasshopper, and the notes will eventually appear. I had similar difficulties at first, since the notes would very rarely drop as treasure.

I found that using the Angel set did help a bit, but it wasn't especially helpful.

yeap, zen gardens, taiko drums
its the only way to get them unless they decide to add a new intrument item : )

you get them by killing the taiko drums on zen gardens. they are harder to get than other itens. for sure
