Well, here it is. My application for Urahara Kisuke. Despite all the time I have spent RP'ing, I have never tried a canon character. The only gripe I have is with the lack of information about the character.

Name: Urahara Kisuke.
Gender: Male.
Age: Unknown.
Height/Weight: Unknown.
Occupation: Owner and proprietor of the Urahara Shop.
Rank: Former Captain of the 12th Squad; Former Head of the Technological Department.

Physical Traits: Urahara Kisuke's mop of cheek-length light blonde hair serves to frame his angular, unshaven face. His round, dark eyes can usually be seen peering out from under his hat, which, barring a life or death situation, will always be found perched comfortably atop his head. Although not much info, aside from his white skin tone, can be gleamed as regards to his physique, his general body shape, coupled with the speed and precision of his movements would lead one to believe he is in possession of a build that could be described as athletic.

Outfit: Kisuke is usually found wearing a getup consisting of, from the ground up: A pair of wooden geta, green silk slacks, a green silk top, an ever-present green and white striped hat, and, finally, a black, nearly floor-length haori with white diamonds running along the fringe. (Note to mods, I took a creative liberty in deciding the fabric that makes up Kisuke's clothing, as I am sure you've noticed.) His geta, a type of sandal, are worn without socks. His lower layer of clothing, namely, the green slacks and top, are very similar in both function and design to a standard karate gi, minus the belt. With the exception of the hat, which is anchored to Kisuke's head as if his life depended on it, and his haori, all of his attire fits him very loosely. The only other noteworthy item is his cane, but that will be explained in the next entry.(Thank you, Seira, for both the reference photo and the various other help, especially in this department.)

Zanpaktou: Benihime. (Crimson Princess) Kisuke, unlike most Shinigami, doesn't tote around his Zanpaktou in a traditional sheath. Instead, Benihime is found resting inside of Kisuke's cane. The cane, which appears to be an ordinary cane meant for walking, also has one other interesting feature: The flaming skull sigi is set upon the lower part of the canel. This little sigil, which appears as a skull set ablaze with black and blue flame, is capable of seperating souls from their bodies. Not much else is known about the sealed form of Benihime, as we have yet to meet the being residing within it. Judging by it's name and some of the abilities used during Shikai, however....

Shikai: "Awaken, Benihime." With that simple phrase, Benihime undergoes a startling change. No longer is she a simple cane-blade, although her hilt's angle closely resembles that of her unsealed form. The blade itself is short, and slim, ending with a slanted razor-edge, rather than the usual tapering that occurs with other Zanpaktou. A little tassle adorns the end of her hilt, and her crossguard is made up of a decorative string wrapped just below the point where the blade would meet the hilt. The string is wrapped three times, ending in a three-looped bow on one end, and a decorative paper on the opposite one. A sheath-like covering rests atop the first three inches of her blade, ending in a flower motif just as it meets the psuedo-crossguard. There isn't a wealth of information on Benihime herself, as she has yet to show herself to us. The only ability that Kisuke has shown is the Blood-Mist Shield, which, in conjunction with a bit of Kisuke's blood and the word "cry," is capable of forming a large, red barrier.

Bankai: Unknown, as of yet. However, based on the current information known about Kisuke, you'd be stupid to think he hasn't achieved this level.

Abilities: (This is where I'll be grasping for straws at... Kisuke hasn't really shown much of anything, aside from basic Shinigami abilities. And if he has unveiled anything in the manga, I have yet to read/see anything in that regard. Same goes for skills.) He can see Hollows, and Kisuke possesses the use of Shunpo.

Skills: Kisuke possesses a certain knack when it comes to enterpreneurship, as he is able to provide Rukia, Ichigo, and co., with invaluable items that most certainly are not of this world. As far as Kidoh, Kisuke hasn't displayed much of that aspect of a Shinigami. He is, however, a talented inventor. To his credit, has devised and implemented various ways of either releasing a Shinigami's power, or further heightening it.

Personality: Enigmatic, carefree, and eccentric. These are words likely to be used when first describing Urahara Kisuke. At first glance, people might mistake Urahara's propensity to sit back and view the world, well, what little of it he -can- see from behind his ever present fan, as a mark of pacifism. Underneath that laid back facade, however, lies a man who probably doesn't even know the meaning of the word, "failure." He always seems to either be in the exact place he is needed the most, or to be in possession of a crucial bit of information. Urahara could be best summarized as a benevolent puppeteer, one who uses his connections to further the aspirations of those he considers his friends and allies.

Interests: Aside from fanning himself, Kisuke's interests seem to reside in the realm of enterpreneurship. He also seems to have taken an interest in one Kurosaki Ichigo.

Family: It is unknown who Urahara Kisuke's mother or father are, or whether they are alive or dead, at this time. The same goes for siblings or other relatives, with one exception. That being Shihouin Yoruichi. It is unknown at this time, yet it is highly plausible that she is his sole living relative.

History: Kisuke was, at one time, Captain of the 12th Division. Unfortunately, at some point Kisuke was exiled from the 13 Divisions. The reason for his exile is currently unknown, but, it could be guessed that it has to do with his creation of a Gigai that is virtually impossible to trace, as well as his studies in Shinigami/Hollow fusion. Sometime after his exile, Kisuke founded the Urahara Shop, which prides itself on providing preternatural goods to equally preternatural beings, such as Shinigami. Urahara Kisuke, along with Tessai, Ururu, and Jinta, run the shop, with Kisuke and Tessai taking care of the supplies and sales, while Jinta and Ururu are responsible for the upkeep of the shop.

Presumably, his days as shop manager should have passed without incident. That is, until Kuchiki Rukia showed up. The timely transfer of her Shinigami powers into Ichigo ultimately led to Rukia being captured and taken back to Soul Society. At this point, Kisuke took on the role of teacher, not only reawakening Ichigo's latent Reiatsu, but teaching him how to harness it, as well. He even helped the boy discover his Zanpaktou's name. After the training was complete, Kisuke, along with Tessai, gathered up Ichigo's companions: Chad, Orihime, and Uchiha. There, the two opened up the gateway to Soul Society, managing to keep it open just long enough for the would-be rescuers, led by Yoruichi, to make the jump from this world to the next.

Roleplay Experience: I've been doing RP's for nearly a decade now, with the last 3 years being the most serious of them all. Most, if not all, of the RP's I have been in were all custom worlds, either built around an existing base, or fashioned from scratch. I'm more of a fan of the 'storytelling' aspect of a Roleplay, than I am of the 'combat' aspect. As for what types I have participated in, I am sure my terms will differ from the ones used here, so, for each, I will elaborate a bit.

Give and Take- Namely, the type of RP that revolves around combat. Little story is exchanged between posts, as most of the post capacity is taken up with frantic fights. Very little freedom is given to the individual, as they are not allowed to, in any way, shape, or form, control another character's actions. My experience with this type mostly consists of what little I have done in the DBZ MUD I participate in.

Scripted- The type of RP that two, or more, people agree upon an outcome before it's even set into motion. In all honesty, I like this type the best. It allows the individual, with the permission (And assistance) of others, to act out a very elaborate plot, or a dramatic combat scene. The only problem with this type of RP is that it requires that the individual scripting the event knowing how to portray the other characters. My experiences with this type are from a Sonic the Hedgehog RP I co-created, as well as a Wrestling E-Fed that I was once a part of. Yes, that's right. Wrestling. ^^;

Freeform- At it's heart, a freeform RP is very similar to a give and take RP. The major exception is that the focus isn't always on combat. Also, this is the style of RP that is mostly found on Gaia. A character will either say a few things, perform an action, or any combination of the two, then, another character will step in and continue, choosing how the events unfold. While it's very easy to get into, a freeform RP is also very limited. You are constrained by what the other character(s) choose. Obviously, my experiences with this type all stem from my travels around Gaia, including the Sonic RP I was an integral part of.

All in all, I have had a wide variety of RP experiences. There are a few systems I haven't yet delved into, though. Oh, and I've also done D&D RP's. Yes, I'm a nerd. ^^;;;

Bleach Knowledge: Well, I've watched all of the subtitled anime episodes. I have yet to read the manga, but I plan on doing so in the near future.

Sample RP: Kisuke's hand reached up and straightened his ever present beach hat, setting it so that the rim rested parallel to his nose. Kisuke's body, however, remained on the floor, where he was lying on his back, looking up at the ceiling. He sighed softly, listening to the sounds of Ururu's and Jinta's voices as they chatted while sweeping the storefront. A small smile then creased his lips, his eyes even glinting with what might be suppressed laughter. Those two children, possibly above all others, could always serve to bring a smile to Kisuke's face. Slowly, the voices began to fade away, probably as a result of the children's movement. A small groan left his lips as he pondered what to do next. He knew that Tessai would probably mistake his languid behavior as some sort of lethargic illness, so, Kisuke decided to go survey the shop's condition.

Without so much as a sound, Kisuke rose from his position on the floor, until he was seated indian-style, legs crossed atop one another. Fixing his hat with one hand, the other reached for his cane, gripping it firmly. Even though he didn't actually need the cane, Kisuke kept it nearby. Still silent, Kisuke's fingers ran across the smooth wood that the cane was comprised of. A few moments passed, and he was still seated on the floor, the cane now resting across his lap. Now that he was up, Kisuke began debating over his earlier decision. It wasn't like the Urahara Shop would suddenly be overflowing with customers, why should he even bother to make sure that he had enough Soul Candy, Memory Chikans, and Somafixers, amongst other things? Shaking his head at such thoughts, Kisuke nevertheless rose to his feet.

A few steps brought him away from his chosen resting place, and a few more beyond that had him outside of the double doors that sectioned off that part of the shop. As Kisuke fastened on his pair of geta, he saw that Tessai was headed his way, and there seemed to be someone following him. Someone he recognized. "Kuchiki Rukia," he spoke, his clear voice punctuated by the sounds of his geta touching upon the floor, "How might I be of assistance?"

*attempts to suppress sniggering but fails* XDD You said Uchiha! UCHIHA! XDD *dies*

*revives and coughs* Ahem, sorry. That was just so randomish, poor Kal spit out her Alka-Seltzer all over her screen. But that just emphasizes to us more how similar Sasuke and Ishida are, not only in voice. (Ishida goes on a.. Sasuke-trip later in the manga.)

So the name you are looking for is Ishida Uyruu.

I do believe geta are slipped on, not fastened..? *looks to others* Saika?

Thanks for all of the help in fine-tuning this bio. A few more tweaks, and it'll be good to go. And this time, I am guaran-damned-teeing 100% less typoes that juxtapose characters from different universes.

Name:Vegita no Ouji

Nickname: His name is Vegita. Call him anything else and your safety cannot be ensured.

Age: Around 14? It depends on how old you think he is when Furiza destroyed Vegita-sei.

Place of Birth: Vegita-sei

Gender: Male

Height/Weight: 4'11" and 85 lbs

Race: Saiya-jin

Power level estimation: I have no idea. Impressive?

Class: Royalty. *smug smirk*

(All of the below fields must be at least one paragraph in length (5-8 sentences) unless otherwise noted.)

Physical Traits: As expected from any Saiya-jin, Vegita is well muscled and in excellent physical condition. He has a crest of upswept black hair with auburn highlights that continue to fade with his age. Spiky bangs stop short of his fiery obsidian eyes. A smirk or scowl are the most common expression found on this youth's face, though the latter is far more common nowadays.

Outfit: Vegita wears a blue, sleeveless body suit and white armor with brown shoulder extensions and the Saiya-jin Royal symbol in red on the left breast. His attire is accented by white gloves, boots and a red cape held in place by two gold clasps. When on missions he also dons a scouter with red-tinted lens.

Techniques/Skills: Vegita is capable of basic ki manipulation such as creating ki blasts and barriers as well as ki sensing (though not very well developed). He is also able to fly using his ki. Vegita's personal technique is the Galick-Ho. He is currently working on another one he calls the Big Bang (what the heck is it in Japanese?). The Galick-ho is charged in cupped hands before shot forward in a powerful beam. He can continue to channel energy into this constant beam of ki until his attack overpowers his target or his energy is depleted. He is also perfecting the ability to perform the Zanoken, the ability to seemingly disappear from one spot and appear in another several feet away.

Personality: Four years under Furiza's tutelage has seriously affected this Saiya-jin. Where as before he would have spoken out his opinion he has now learned it best to keep things to yourself. He is far quieter than he use to be. Quiet and calculating. He cares not for relationships and friends, but for servants and pawns. It has taken a lot of self discipline and punishment for him to learn to curb his anger around Lord Furiza. Even though he has improved significantly, his Saiya-jin temper can still get the better of him. Though Vegita appears cruel and sadistic, there are many internal demons he battles. He is a warrior, a killer...but in the same stroke, he is a child.

Interests: Gaining power and the level of Super Saiya-jin is the Ouji's only interests.

Family: His father, Vegeta no Ou and mother, the Saiya-jin no Ouhi, are both deceased. His only surviving family member is his sister Saika no Hime. (I am assuming that she is his sister since she's a princess.)

Friends/Affiliates: Vegita is a strong believer in that he doesn't need anyone and that other Saiya-jins are there to serve him.

History: Vegita no Ouji was raised being trained physically and mentally that he was to one day be King of all Saiya-jins. His father's lessons were a mix of sparring and Being a Leader 101. He was taught Saiya-jin tradition and honor from not only Vegita no Ou, but his mother, his father's advisor and his own teacher and guardian, Nappa.
However, the future he was raised for became clouded and uncertain with the reign of Furiza. Though Vegita no Ou attempted to keep his son away from the tyrants' influence, the young prince was fully aware that his father was nothing but a pawn to the Ice-jin.
At ten-years-old, the youth's last remaining hope that his father would break away from Furiza was crushed when he was taken by the monster. His father had given him up to save his own hide. Four years later his planet and his people were destroyed. Not by Furiza. But by some damn comet.

Miscellaneous

Your roleplay experience. Aside from having ran my own DBZ rpg board I have participated in many literate Dragonball Z rpgs on Gaia. Rpgs in which Saika was either a part of or aware of. ^-^ Non-DBZ rpgs have included X-men, Harry Potter, Inu-Yasha, Teen Titans, fantasy, werewolf and many others.

Your knowledge of the DBZ universe. Umm..how about that I own all of Dragonball Z, GT and the movies? Is that enough knowledge? ^-~

Sample roleplay entry. Do I have to? Oh, all right.

Vegita raised his gloved hand lazily in the direction of his target. With a brilliant flash of white the last of the Saibamen had been destroyed and the simulation ended. The green creatures were far too weak to provide him with a decent training session anymore. He needed a challenge! His tail lashed in the air behind him, displaying his annoyance, as he exited the training area. But that challenge would have to wait. Vegita no Ouji had a larger interest...the mess hall.

"That was an impressive session, Ouji." Nappa commented, as he always did, as he followed in the youth's path.

"Shut up, Nappa. That was a waste of my time. I out grew those green midgets years ago. Find me something better or I'll just use you next time."

The Ouji's obsidian eyes narrowed as someone stepped into the corridor further ahead. Hearing the drawl of Furiza's blue-skinned lap dog caused the teen to stop. "Meh, forget it. I'm not hungry. I'll be in my quarters." He spat before quickly turning and walking down an adjoining corridor. He would gladly put off dinner to avoid passing that green-haired freak. It had already been a month since Vegita-sei was destroyed but Zarbon always managed to bring it up in a conversation. Vegita wasn't certain he could control his temper at the moment. It was better not to risk it.

I hope you don't mind what I did with the history. The timelines were getting confusing. But I thought it would be interesting to have Vegita not have a high opinion of his father, even though Vegita no Ou has his reasons. If there are any problems with the history or age, just let me know. ^-^. ))

Actually, for all intents and purposes in this guild, he's 10. *sigh* I really should adjust the timeframe, though, so they aren't so damn young, but since the RPG has already been started I won't do it now.

Yes, she's his sister, which I think you would have seen since you said you saw the character bios after submitting.

When did Bejiita find out that it was really Furiiza that destroyed the planet? I don't remember and I don't feel like looking it up.. At any rate, I like the conflict with his father that's hinted at in this history. Of course age has already been brought up, and it's only been 1 year since the planet's destruction. I really need to go and specify the timeline better. =/ Sorry about that....

No, I can understand the timelines, I'll look again and see about fixing the confusing part. ^^;; But the history looks good to me- age aside.

The only thing is that Bejiita and Saika won't be key players in the RPG for a bit since I want to get the Saiya-jin group established first before throwing in the Royal Family (or what's left of it) to mess things up for Bardock. Lol.
