Midnight Yume

((This is an RP welcome for everybody to join, Farland Clinic people or not! ^__^ It is held in Naiya's and Hiroshi's house, a white villa with two floors. On the first floor, there's a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a big hall, and a library. On the second floor, there're two bedrooms and another bathroom. The party is in the back yard, where there's a buffet table, two swings, and a big stereo with loud music. XD Feel free to switch on whatever song you like! 4laugh

Just a small note; you can RP that you were sent an invitation letter if you'd like to. XD))

Naiya sat in one of the swings and swung backward and forward, waiting for someone to come. It wasn't much of a big party; Hiroshi was away buying a cake, not knowing of the surprise birthday party, Yume was clutching her and her sister's gift to him, and Belinda nibbled on some cookies in a corner of the back yard silently. A bird sang on a branch of a naked tree, seeing how it was autumn, almost winter, already.
"What a boring party. I wish someone would come", Yume murmured.
"The party hasn't even begun yet", Naiya said with slight annoyance. "And where're your adopted fairy daughters, by the way?"
"They're at home, and taking care of the kids. None of them are in the mood of partying, anyway", Maurus the CoCo Kitty said, grasping his frying pan tightly, since it was a bit too heavy for him to carry. "Hey, where's everybody?"

"If somebody at least would come...", Naiya muttered as she played with a few cookies with her fingers.
"Take it easy, Naiya, the party's just begun", Yume said in a try to calm her. "I'm sure SOMEBODY will come..."
"I hope so", Belinda commented, eyeing the open window to her room on the second floor. "I'd like to play the piano otherwise. Can't you just tell me when dad's coming?"
Naiya sighed.
"Can't you just live without the piano a few minutes, sweetie? I'm sure the piano can live without you a few minutes..."
Belinda made a slight, sulky grimace, before returning to her swing, crunching on some cookies. Maurus the CoCo jumped around in the grass, chasing butterflies which flew past him.

"Good afternoon", a deep, dark voice said behind Naiya. Naiya jumped slightly as she twirled around in nervosity. "Oh... hello, Hito. I didn't see you." She laughed nervously. "Sorry."
"No need to be sorry", Hito said as he bent down and kissed her cheek. Yume rolled her eyes at the action, as Hito realized that she stood right beside. Belinda stared at them, gaping, in disbelief. "Oh, good afternoon. You must be Yume, Naiya's sister, I suppose? Adorable, adorable." He grasped Yume's hand gently and kissed it.
"Hmm... hi", Yume said uncertainly, eyeing him with a raised eyebrow. Hito laughed.
"Please excuse my manners. I'm a bit medieval. And you are...?" He looked at Belinda, whom stood, grasping the chain of the swing, staring at Hito. "Why, of course. You must be Belinda. I can see it at once on your face, you're just as adorable as your mother."
"You... you... witch!" Belinda suddenly shouted at Naiya, making Naiya back a few steps in pure astonishment. "How could you cheat on dad? Dad has never been untrue to you! Ever!"
"... Darling...", Naiya began, but was abruptly interrupted:
"Don't call me darling anymore!" Belinda shrieked, stamping her foot on the ground. "You... you..." And without another word, she stormed into the house, and slammed the door shut. Naiya looked helplessly after her daughter and continued to stare at the door.
"Naiya... what... happened?" Hito asked, putting a hand onto Naiya's shaking shoulder.
"I don't know", she sobbed on Hito's chest, "I really don't know, Hito. What has happened to me?"
Just then, a car stopped outside the villa. Hiroshi stepped out, and Yume, whom had stiffened on the ground as a stone statue, watched in slow motion as Hiroshi walked towards the sobbing Naiya in Hito's arms.
"What has happened? Naiya..." Then he stopped, and glared at Hito, who was just as tall as himself. "... what is going on?" he continued, though in a much unfriendlier voice. "And what has HE got to do here?"
When Hiroshi had once seen Hito and Naiya together in town, Naiya had lied about who he was and had merely told him that he was an old childhood friend of hers before she met Hiroshi and after Hiroshi came, Hito left, so they hadn't met since now and therefore they were out on a little shopping tour to get to know each other again. Though, ever since that, Hiroshi had loathed Hito.
"I'm so sorry, Hiroshi", Naiya sobbed, as she looked at Hiroshi with red, tear-filled eyes. "I... I really didn't mean to do what I did. I didn't mean to hurt you the way I'm doing now."
"What do you mean?" Hiroshi asked, wrinkling his forehead.
"... I... I..." Naiya took a deep breath. "I... this.... Hiroshi, this is my boyfriend. Hito Kumori."
"Say... WHAT?!" Hiroshi said, staring at her in disbelief. "Is this some kind of birthday joke?"
"It's certainly not, Shinjin", Hito said, narrowing his eyes. "She's just revealing the truth to you. All those months, she has carried this guilt in her heart, and now she has revealed it to you. You should be happy."
"Happy? For what?" Hiroshi said, glaring back at Hito and Naiya. "That my wife, who I thought was trustable, has just gone and cheated on me? And then lied about it? Now when she's pregnant?"
Then he eyed Naiya as she burst into more tears and sobbed hysterically as she cried on Hito's chest, Hito's right arm around her shoulders.
"Now, don't tell me..." Hiroshi stopped again, and narrowing his eyes even more, if possible, glared at the two of them. "Of course. I should've known. I just wondered where that child came from. I couldn't remember that I and Naiya had planned to get another child, and now I know why. Because we didn't plan it at all."
"Hiroshi!" Naiya cried, and Hito said sharply:
"Shinjin."
"No, Naiya", Hiroshi said, backing away from her. "I will never trust you again. I thought that even after all our rows, we were still unseperable."
"We are! We are!" Naiya bellowed, crying even more hysterically. "I love you, Hiroshi, I really do!"
"No, Naiya. Don't play that trick on me again. I won't believe you this time. I won't let you trick me again... so goodbye. And have a good life with your new husband. I hope you enjoy your life. Farewell, Naiya Arashii." And he opened the door to his car, because he had backed all the way back to his car, and stepped inside, driving away. As he began to drive, Naiya ran and shrieked, "Hiroshi! Hiroshi!", banking on the windows, but the car was of course faster, and drove away from her.
"Hiroshi...", she cried, collapsing on the pavement, crying her eyes out. Hito walked forward, grasped her arms and lifted her upwards, putting her on a bench nearby, as he gently patted her shoulder. She cried even louder and embraced Hito once more, crying on his chest. And there Yume stood, standing there like a stone statue, totally frozen on the ground. Even Maurus, her CoCo which was known for never being able to shut up, was sitting on her head, gaping.
