I have a few questions about Barrett's Tank:

1. How many fishes can you place inside Barrett's Tank?

2. Does placing a fish in Barrett's Tank affect the health of your tank?

3. Does placing fish in Barrett's Tank affect the happiness of your fishes?

4. If I were to place my current fishes in Barrett's Tank, will their happiness drop considerably?

Feel free to answer some or all of the questions to the best of your knowledge...

1. I dont really know, but there could be a limit.
2. I dont think so because its a different tank.
3. I wouldnt think so, but not sure on that one.
4. I dont know about that one either. But I doubt it.

1. Not sure... as of yet the max I've placed in there is 11 fish

2. I don't believe so... especially if you put in other fish... but your tank health may drop if you neglect your own tank... so if you put all your fish in Barrets care and just leave the tank empty... then yes...

3. I believe the happiness of the fish stays the same...

4. I doubt it...

OK, this is what I know about Barrett's tank. He will take care of them & keep them alive & happy. So, if you go on vacation, and won't be able to take care of them, maybe put them in there. BUT, it will not extend the life of the fish.

Now, the down side to them being in there... fish can't earn you booty if they are with him.

Now, the only reason most ppl I know have used his tank was let's say it was filled cuttlefish & hermit cats ... you finally get enough gold to fill your tank with high trigger fish..... give them to Barrett & add the new ones biggrin

As far as I know, there is no limit.

If you put all of your fish in Berrett's tank, your tank health % will drop back to zero. Why? Because there are no fish in your tank, and you have to start over.

No, if your fish are happy with you, they are happy with him also.

And no, their health should stay the same.

I've heard the same things others have, and my experience with Barret's tank seems to confirm it.

1. No idea, but it would appear to be fairly unlimited. At least 16 will fit, but that's all I know for sure.

2. Not directly - no. But if your tank has no fish it's health will drop.

3. No. Each fishes happiness (in your aquarium - not Barret's tank) depends solely on the light, music & temperature settings. How often/regularly you feed them changes how quickly they gain (or lose) happiness.

4. Supposedly the fish in Barret's tank will remain at the happiness level they were at when you put them there. I haven't verified this, but it appears to be true.

chuck2p released some new information about Barrett's tank. The big change is that fish no longer age in Barrett's tank, but he also stated that the number of fish you can have in there is unlimited. So, in essence, putting fish in Barrett's tank is a lot like putting them in "cryogenic stasis" - they don't age & their happiness doesn't change.
