Dreams, Dreams
The Story
Wizeman the Wicked, Ruler of Nightmare. It is said that he was a dreamer who became evil from being deprived of Ideya. No one knows for sure. All that is known is that he wreaks havoc on dreams through his creations, the Nightmaren. Confined to Nightmare, his goal is to destroy all of Nightopia and reform it into more Nighmare. However, one of his most powerful creations, NiGHTS, betrayed him. Despite the setback, Wizeman has continued to further his plans, stealing the Ideya of visitors and expanding Nightmare.
One night, as Sonic and company drift off to sleep, they find themselves in a world not quite their own. They find themselves in the serene area called the Dream Gate, the border between Nightopia and Nightmare...

Information on NiGHTS
Explination of Nightopia/Nightmare
The Night Dimension is split into two halves; Nightopia and Nightmare. Nightopia where good dreams take place, and Nightmare is where bad dreams take place. A Nightopia is generated from a Visitor's Ideya and the Visitor's subconscious. When the Visitor loses their Ideya or has it stolen from them, the Nightopia becomes a Nightmare.
Nightmaren
Nightmaren are created by Wizeman, the ruler of Nightmare. Wizeman is more-or-less all-powerful, but he is contained to Nightmare. So, he sends Nightmaren to do his dirty work. Nightmaren come in all shapes and sizes, but most are able to shapeshift to a degree. Their goal is to steal Ideya from Visitors in order to destroy Nightopia and create Nightmare as they please.
Nightmaren Hierarchy
Nightmaren are divided into three levels. First-level Nightmaren are the most powerful. NiGHTS and Reala are the only two in this category. Second-level Nightmaren are less powerful than first-level Nightmaren, and come in many different forms. All of the bosses from both games (barring Reala, who is first-level) are examples of second-level Nightmaren. Third-level Nightmaren are relatively weak, and all of the little enemies in the stages are third-level Nightmaren.
Nightopians
Nightopians are the inhabitants and caretakers of Nightopia. Unlike Nightmaren, they prefer to let dreamscapes develop naturally. For the most part, they resemble small children with pointy heads, insect wings, and haloes.
Ideya
Ideya is the force the generates Nightopias. Every Visitor has five, one of each color; green, yellow, red, white, and blue. Green Ideya represents Wisdom or Growth. Yellow Ideya represents Hope. White Ideya represents Purity. Blue Ideya represents Intelligence. Red Ideya represents Courage, and is generally considered to be the rarest of the five. Some Nightmaren are drawn to a specific color of Ideya (NiGHTS is attracted to red Ideya, for example), though not all.
Visitors
Visitors are dreamers who have entered the Night Dimension and are aware that they are dreaming.
NiGHTS
NiGHTS is a Nightmaren who betrayed Wizeman, and as punishment, was banished to Nightopia. NiGHTS ha no set gender, and either "he" or "she" is acceptable when refering to him/her.

Helen's Father desided to take the doll, and Experiment with it. He eventually made the doll a Subconsious (SP?), allowing the small doll to dream... Learta is Now at the dream gate, Unconsious on the ground. She resembles a Nightmaren rather then a visitor. She has a soft pink glow comming from her hands... Personality: Learta Has a very Naive personality. It is very easy to fool her into thinking that you are her friend. It's even easier to break her heart. Litterly. But you'll find out soon enough. Learta Hates to be alone. She'll Follow anyone who wouldn't scream at her. When Learta is upset, a big glass box appears around her. Rules
1) Gaian TOS and guild rules apply.
2) If you're unfamiliar with NiGHTS, read the explinations provided in the second post. If you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
3) NiGHTS and Reala are the only first-level Nightmaren. Any fanmaren sent into this RP must be second- or third-level.
4) Nightopian characters don't have to be the triangle-head things with the haloes.
5) PM profiles for original characters to me. There is no magic word to put in the title, just make sure I know what it's for.
6) There is no requirement for post length. Aim for a paragraph, but less is understandable, as long as you put some thought into it.
7) For anything that doesn't have a rule specifically for it, just use common sense to sort it out.

Belle was floating around Nightmare having just added another Yellow Ideya to her collection, "It's becoming a bit harder and harder to scare these Visitors as the days roll by.. either they are becoming less fearful, or I'm becoming less terrifying.... no, I can not lose my edge, I must find more ways to scare.. I must, update myself.. come up with new tricks, new suprises.... but alas, I can not think of a single new idea" she sighed. She went over and sat down closing her eyes and rubbed her head trying to think, "How can I, the bug mistress, become more scary?.. There must be something, but what?" she asked looking down at the bottom of her cloak. "If I do not come up with anything, then surely Wizeman will soon cast me away... what good is a mistress of terror who can not scare?" she asked herself and sighed heavily. She was sitting alone with no one around like she normally did, she believed it sometimes helped her think more clearly. But today was different, she could feel it all around her.

Six flew in lazy circles around the Dream Gate. The resident of Nightopia made her sick with their brightness and cheeriness. But, she had far too many enemies in Nightmare. So, she was more or less stuck on the border of the two worlds, waiting for some hapless visitor to show up. "Boring..." she thought aloud, flying over the ountain in the center of the small, paved area below for the umpteenth time, noting with dissatisfaction the lack of activity there. "I'll give it five more minutes." she declared to herself. "Then I'll go and punt some 'pians or something." She grinned at the thought, revealing a pair of pointed canines.

Aile started to walk though the gates and looked around where she was not knowing where she was."Just whats going on here?I don't know this place at all.I can't tell if this real or not." Aile said as she stop and sat down to think of something.

Six stared at the hedgehog. "Um, nice try, but your little toy isn't going to do a whole lot." She pointed at the empty space where a neck should have been. "See, I don't actually have a neck..." she explained, not reguarding the hedgehog as a threat at all. Grabbing the tip of the Goren's sword, she moved it out of her way, holding it at arm's length as if it were something disgusting and repulsive. "You should put that thing away before you hurt yourself with it." she said, waving dismissively at him as she edged her way past.
