This is a site telling you all the sighting opportunities for the international space station and space shuttles (when they are up there). Just put in where you are in the world and it will tell you the precise time, date and direction. The space station will appear as a bright light. It's only visible for around 2 minutes so I use an alarm clock smile
You can also view where in the world it is in reality data.
