I have always said gaia as Guy-ah.. my sister says Gee-AH thogh, and that annoys the heck out of me domokun

Guy-uh.
Even before I came across this place, I pronounced it guy-uh.
The main character of the "Fearless" series by Francine Pascal is named Gaia : )

Gaia is used in many anime and Manga, pronounced Guy-uh, and used to mean earth (sometimes Mother earth).

ive always said it as guy-ah but most of my friends say gee-ah,and trust me ,it is do anooying hearing them say it ,now ive got proof that im right 3nodding

I never really thought about other people pronouncing it differently. I always assumed everyone pronounced it "guy-uh". (And I was right.)
