Upon passing through the front gate there is a pathway wide enough for a car to drive up. Trees line either side of the driveway leading out to a forested area. The entire area has an extensive security system that includes hidden security cameras, motion sensors as well laser guns hidden in the ground and other such things. A large tiled courtyard leads to the main entrance of the Mansion.

 I don't know who I am.
I don't know what I am
I just know that I'm not human. Pyra stepped out of the Institute doors and saw every student and mutant that was once asleep in the area, no wide awake, wet and confused.
They looked at her, and she couldn't help but to think that they judged her. A few kids whispered as they looked at her and she immediately wanted to run, and run far away. But like every time she had wanted to run while she was here, her feet stayed planted.
She looked around for a familiar face. For some reason, she thought that everyone would be angry with her, even if Logan did say that she wouldn't be thrown out.
I'm not sure if I want to know
I'm not sure that I need to know
But the fact just is...I don't know.

Logan came out a few moments later, "Alright, I've acitived the dyer system. Give it a few minutes and it should be dry enough for you all to go to sleep."

I just know that I'm not human. Pyra looked towards the trees, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone in the crowd. Not even Logan. She felt so ashamed of herself. She knew she was safe here, but she was a hazard to everyone. She was dangerous, a bomb waiting to go off.
Her powers unpredictable, even in her sleep. She was dangerous to everyone except herself.
She didn't say anything, but held the bear that Logan had given her earlier, closer to her.

I just know that I'm not human. Pyra reluctantly gave up the bear, feeling like a lost child. Yet, she knew that she was now sixteen and shouldn't be acting like a child.
"I-I didn't mean t-to set off the sprinklers," she said quietly, still too wet to light herself on fire, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to with everyone staring at her. Then, they would know that it was her that started the fire.

I just know that I'm not human. Pyra sighed. "No one," she asked. "Maybe...if you don't count me," she continued. Her eyes searched the crowd of student who anxiously waited to get into their beds again.
Never before in her life, had she ever felt so truly sorry. She looked up to Logan, everything that she wanted to say, she knew was better left unsaid.

You tell me that it's okay Pyra shook her head. "No...nothing is on my mind," she lied. "Just that...I am safe here, but when I am here, no one else is safe," she couldn't help but quietly say.
She knew that Logan would say something about her statement. But at the time that she said it, she didn't care. Thoughts of running away so everyone would be safe at the Institute, ran through her mind.
But we all know it is not.
Is there really a place here
For such a monster as me?

Logan sighed, this kid was a hard one to understand, but then again what she went though, she could understand. "Look. Things happen like this all the time. Once, right after Rouge and I got here, I was having a nightmare. She came into my room and I stabbed her because I thought she was someone in my nightmare. She had to use her ability to take my healing ability to heal herself or she would have died right then and there. I thought about running so I wouldn't hurt anyone anymore. I have seen so much death in my life, I was done with it. I didn't want it, nor needed it. But we worked though it and things between me and her couldn't be any better. In fact, they are pretty good right now."

You tell me that it's okay Pyra listened and stayed quiet for a moment as she looked at all the students that seemed confused. Some were excited, some were angry, some were worried about their things.
Pyra looked back up at Logan. "I'm not going to be kicked out? They aren't going to be angry with me," she asked not really understanding. She knew that what she did was wrong, but it was also an accident. "I don't want to run but I don't want to hurt anyone...anymore," she said quietly. She remembered a few of the faces in her dream, the people that she had hurt.
But we all know it is not.
Is there really a place here

At that moment Logan damned the consequences hugged her, "Some maybe mad, but they will get over it. But no, you are not going to get kicked out. We've all had nightmares and have done odd things because of those nightmare. Gambit, one of the men you meet earlier, he would sleep walk and eat a lot of food because he had nightmare about being on the streets and being hungry again. Granted, it wasn't a lot. It was just annoying because if you wanted a sandwich back in those days you had to store the bread somewhere where he couldn't get to it. He more or less got over it now, but sometimes I catch him making a sandwich. I usually just help him and he's on his way back to bed. But no, you aren't going to get kicked out and you didn't hurt anyone. They just got a little wet."

You tell me that it's okay Pyra tensed but controlled herself when Logan hugged her. She brought her body temperature down to a semi normal level that way she wouldn't accidentally burn him. Sure, she hadn't hurt anyone yet, but she didn't want to start.
She was surprised by Logan's action but was thankful that she had enough control, especially since she was practically standing in front of the whole school. Pyra closed her eyes, her body still tense, it had happened without warning, Logan was a lucky man on this night.
"It is good to know that I am not the only one," she half lied. Even though others had nightmares and did odd thing, it seemed that only Logan did something that would allow him to understand how Pyra felt. He had lost control of his powers once in his sleep, just like she did just minutes ago.
But we all know it is not.
Is there really a place here
