This floor is dedicated mainly to the quarters of faculty, staff and X-Men. Aside from the quarters, there are laundry facilities, a workshop, and a recreation area that is strictly for faculty, staff and X-Men.

|Dr. Hank McCoy|
Hank sighed, and poured himself another cup of coffee. He needed to head back to the Infirmary, but he was so exhausted himself.
"I'm never playing dodgeball again." He muttered to himself. Rubbing his stiff back, he sat down in one of the chairs, thankful Charles had the foresight to build a Staff Lounge.
As he sipped his coffee, he relaxed. Hank noticed the paper sitting on one of the end tables. Picking it up, he scimmed through the stories.
"Mutant, mutants, mutant," he said, listing off the topics of each article he passed. Finally, he found the science section. Which, thankfully, wasn't about mutants. Hank was tired of all the Anit-Mutant propaganda. He was trying his best to change the minds of Americans, but nothing seemed to be helping the situation. So, as he sat back and relaxed, he put the topic of 'Mutants: Good or Bad' far from his mind, and indulged himself in the advanced workings of nerophysic.

|Dr. Hank McCoy|
Sighing, Hank set down the paper. The article hadn't talked about anything new to him, and was, therefore, uninteresting.
Hank, you'd best get to the Infirmary. You've got some students who need you help.
On my way. Hank thought back. Good thing the Professor had told him. He hadn't planned on returning to the Infirmary anytime soon. Gulping down his coffee, he set the cup in the sink, and headed off.

((New Story)) ROGUE Untouchable Goddess There was much on Rogue's daily plans. There wasn't much of anything right now. The Southern Belle or River Rat as she nicknamed felt like a ghost walking the hallways. The new barriers that Xavier helped her form quieted her mind for this moment. There was a sense of peace that seemed to wash over her. She loved the fact that no one was clawing out her. Then there knowing the shield's would only hold up a few days until she's tortured again.
Rogue sighed as she stepped into the hallways and shut her bed room door. It was simple room. Maybe she should redo it. To do something different would be great. No one seemed to be around at the moment and Rogue pulled her keys out of her jacket and looked at them. Should go to Jc Penny's and fix her room up? She really didn't know for sure if it was the right course of action. It was a dull day. She wondered who was around but part of her wanted to keep to herself if she could, which, was highly unlikely for the most part.

Scott wandered down the hall and to his room. He was tired, real tired. Tired of everything right now, but he had just got back from a weekend get away, he couldn't leave. It was this Pyra girl, that was making him so tired. He always worried about her, or everyone else now.
He had tried to give her the benefit of a the doubt but she didn't seem like she was really trying. He grabbed his coffee mug and his file of quizzes to hand back in his next class and wandered right back out of his room. He walked past the the faculty lounge. The seats called out to him but he ignored them. He had a class to teach. Then he stopped short in his steps. It was lunch time for the students. He smiled and turned back to the lounge.
He set his empty coffee mug on the table and went to round up some coffee from the coffee maker, before finally sitting down. All this running, and fighting and standing and fighting and....
He sighed and slumped into one of the more comfy chairs. "She's going to kill me," he sighed. "That's it...I'm going to die young from a heart attack," he mumbled to himself. He hoped that he wouldn't but Pyra was becoming more of a handful than many students he had crossed. She didn't know control, of anything. She couldn't be controlled because she never listened.

ROGUE Untouchable Goddess Silence was about to end as beautiful apple green eyes fell upon the X-Men Field Leader. Scott looked worse for wear. He looked like his schedule went in ten different directions. That wasn't good for the repercussions of his coma when he was child. Rogue frowned and walked over to him. There wasn't that bitter resentment like when Jean was around. They could have what she couldn't and it did make her feel bad.
"Howdy Scott. What's the mattah, sugah. You look like your been thrown by a horse," she greeted. She sat down next to him. Rogue wasn't one to deal with the student head one. The southerner felt it might be too much of a risk; plus there was always the risk of mental break downs and take overs. It wasn't good to be around students as teacher for her. Plus; she simply had a little education that the brotherhood and the X-Men gave her. Most of what she knew was witnessed by her or was taught to her by Ororo or Jean.
Maybe it was Logan that got under his skin. It Was common place for the two to bicker and fight like ten year olds. Rogue grew accustom to it and didn't give it a second thought.

Scott glanced up at Rouge and offered a small smile.
"Hi Rouge," he replied. His eyebrows raised over his sunglasses when she mentioned that he looked like he had been thrown by a horse. "Nope, not a horse," he said with a smile that quickly faded.
"There's a new student here, the one I went to go get a week ago," he began. "She calls herself Pyra but her birth name is Kaija. She won't let anyone in and she very much has a lack of control of her gift and her temper."
He sipped at his coffee, hoping that it would give him the energy that he had lost while keeping the young, annoying red head from running into New York and causing chaos.
"She's like you," he said after some thought. "She can't touch or be touched without burning anything. She has gloves so maybe you two are starting a trend he said as he took off the gloves he had used to keep the girl from burning him. He learned the first time. "She got scared and was on the run today...turns out it was all just an accident but she thought we were going to kick her out."
"She ended up hurting Bobby in the process of trying to run and tried to fight me....again," he shook his head. "She won't listen to anyone and does her own thing and she doesn't care what anyone thinks. How can you help someone like that," he asked.
Of course Kaija had only been there for three days, he couldn't expect to work a miracle on the child.

ROGUE Untouchable Goddess Sounds like he had more than his handful today and there was always one. Rogue wondered what Ororo thought. The Weather Witch was typically not a teacher but she had a lot more patients with children than Rogue did. Rogue looked over at Scott, "Ah recokon that trend was started with Jubilee. Have ya tried giving them a spin? Maybe the girls would be good fo' each other," She offered. Rogue knew of Jubilee's fears of her powers. It didn't take rocket scientist to see through boldness in her eyes to fear the hurting people.
"With dat temper ya might wanna give her Logan. What's Hank figured out," she inquired. Hank was good at coming up with stuff. The man was simply a king hearted genius. Possibly Jean or Xavier should rest the girl's mind a little. "Maybe it's just fear, sugah. Most kids don't do well in the Danger Room the first few times. At times you can throw a bit much at them. This isn't Alex, the earth isn't going to crumble if she does control her powers quickly," Rogue advised.
"She hit an Omega," Rogue's eyes widened. What could have caused him to break down? She knew Bobby Could withstand a lot of heat was the one thing he feared the most. Rogue looked at her, "So, ya the Belle to charm her?"

Scott smiled at Rouge's comments about the glove trend. "Uh...I'm not sure that they would get along," he replied. "It might be a good try though. He hadn't thought of that Jubilee had just returned and he didn't want to throw Pyra on anyone.
Scott shrugged when Rouge asked about what Hank figured out. "I don't know, I was going to see what he could do for her nightmares, but she won't talk to anyone about where she came from, or anything. She's a keep to herself kind of girl. And a hard one to read. Logan...I'm afraid that she might not survive him, not with her temper," he paused and smirked. That would be some good revenge on Logan but then again, he didn't want to hear about it from him. It might straighten the girl out though.
"She wasn't in the Danger Room, Rouge," he admitted. "She was in the Library, I was thinking about taking her to the danger room, it might wake her up, see the extent of her powers. I don't know."
His mind was swimming with ways to try to domesticate the bundle of heat and flame.
"The only thing she fears is not having a place to take her in," he replied. That much he knew about the girl, he didn't know why but it made sense. The human world wasn't as accepting of mutants as their own kind.
"She was running, Bobby was asked to stop her, and I walked in right when she elbowed his ribs," he sighed, he hoped that Bobby was okay. The kid had a great heart for the students, and he knew that Bobby didn't want to hurt Pyra. Which was probably one of the better choices. If he would have fought Pyra, there probably wouldn't be a school.
"I don't know, Rouge," he said in reply to Rouge's question on if he was asking her to charm the fireball. "If you feel up to it? She needs someone and I don't think she's going to look for it in me. I don't wear gloves, therefore I don't understand half the things she's going through. Not able to touch things..She can't even touch paper or bread without gloves."
He put his aching head on the table. "She'd be great for the team, but she's caught in her world. I don't know if she knows how to escape it," he mumbled. He wondered what her nightmares were about, but she never said anything.
"So, Rouge, how are you," he asked lightly, picking his head up off the table to take a few more sips of his coffee.

ROGUE Untouchable Goddess She listened to closely to Scott and what he told her. Just because they both wore gloves really didn't mean anything. The school by day and superhero team by night. It was more of what fears were in her because of her powers. What Scott said fired Rogue's on temper.
"Good fo' the team? SCOTT the gal isn't Chamber o'Jubilee! Ya don't even know what she's capable o' o' if we might have send her to Moria 'or her own safety," Rogue looked at him. What bite him that he would think an untrained child would be good for the team. At this point she'd get them all killed and the X-Men were not based on power they were based on physical and mental stamina.
"Are ya mad o' something? At this point she'll get us all killed! An' dat isn't your choice ta make, sugah. That's Xavier's. None of use just danced on this team. We all had to prove ourselves outside the danger room."
Rogue was flaming mad. Why was he thinking like this? What got into his head? Maybe Momma would know something It was strange for Scott to even consider something like that. He was intelligence but without training the girl is going to get them killed and there has been enough death in this world already with people that couldn't control their powers.
Ah, reckon Jubilee would be good for her. Jubilee has a lot ta offer an' we shouldn't be underestimating what she can do."

Scott frowned at Rouge's temper. "For God's sake, Rouge! Not right now, I meant eventually she would be good for the team," he sighed. He needed sleep, his words weren't coming out as intelligent as they usually did. "Not right now, she would blow up every building on the planet," he mumbled. "But...eventually, when she gets that temper of hers under control and decides whether or not she wants to try and make this all work for her."
He sighed and drank his coffee. "Maybe Jubilee would be good for her..."
He felt like a drunk and he hadn't even had anything except coffee to drink. His eyebrows raised as he thought. They really hadn't a clue what she could do. Sure, he fought her once, when he tried to get her in the car, which she almost blew up, but that probably wasn't entirely her fault.
"Time, time, time," he muttered to himself. "I usually have patience with these kids..."

ROGUE Untouchable Goddess "Of course Jubilee would be good fo' her. Who else could instill total fear in blowing up buildings, Rogue looked at Scott and smirked. He needed and a hot bath and warm cup of tea but things that relax the mind and body don't last long around here.
"Think of it this way Scott, she your combination of Remy an' Logan. Your patience will where thin. Ah mean you are only human," she smoothed over him. Even a walk in the gardens would help calm him down. Ororo did such fine work out there.
From what Rogue figured Jubilee understood the fear better than the rest of them. She knew what it was like to lose everything and fall into the hands of superhumans. For that understanding the Jubilee is probably best the choice. Hardly an ex brotherhood mutant would do.

Scott nodded. Yes, the red head was a combination of Remy and Logan at once. He hated when they both were in the same room and could barely even handle one at a time. This kid had them both.
"I'll talk to Jubilee," he said and sipped more of his coffee. "But I have a feeling that Kaija has been without a parent figure for some time. Which would be why she doesn't respect authority."
Speaking of a parent figure, he wondered where his daughter was. It had been so long since he had seen her.
He grinned. "I just might hand her over to Logan and Remy."
It was a good idea, especially since she was a combination of both, it would give them a taste of their own medicine, and give her a taste of her own as well. It wasn't a half bad idea. The problem was, he knew at some point, he would have to deal with all three of them. Still the idea sounded just as good as any.
Scott let his eyes rest on Rouge's face and let them study her. "So...any big plans for the day," he asked eying the keys in her hand.

Ororo wandered into the lounge after her class was finished. Many of the students were now at lunch and it wasn't her turn to patrol the halls. She noticed Scott sitting at the table with Rouge. He looked like he got hit by a truck, but otherwise unharmed.
The white haried, African assumed that things went well enough with trying to stop Kaija from running to New York. Magneto would pick the girl up in a heartbeat if given half the chance.
"Hello, Rouge," she greeted and went to the cupboard to find some tea bags. "How are you, today?"

ROGUE Untouchable Goddess Rogue looked at him, "How many o' us have been in the same boat, sugah? Look at us? We are all group of people with mama and papa problems. Very few us have links to them," She stated. Her bright green eyes watched him as she turned to see a mane of pure white hair. The woman graced her heritage in a beautiful manner. The weather witch with blinding blue eyes walk gracefully towards them and Rogue smiled, "Howdy Ororo," Rogue returned.
She turned back to Scott, "Ah'm thinking about going to shopping and redecorating my room. Ah still need to find a new frame for the picture of meh and the swamp rat."
