He's real. You can tell what he's thinking for the most part, he isn't perfect, he's good looking but not in the overly pretty boy way... and other than one scene he isn't abusive in any way shape or form. I like that about him. And he seems like he'd make a great friend for anyone.

Though once he imprinted I hated him. His entire character just became hollow... he was someone who had character development (more than anyone else in the series, anyway). At the start of the series he was just a kid who hung out with friends and built cars, pretty normal and yet a lot more interesting than Bella in my opinion. And then he got the fever of one hundred and werewolf and had to go the change from being a normal kid to dealing with another part of him he didn't know existed, trying to balance that part of him with the other and fighting against the pack to keep other friends.

But then Nessie is born and that's all there is for him. He's just with her.

I expected better things from him, I have to say. But in the first three he's usually a good character.

i agree w/ that. i used to be a team edward until new moon, when he left and it was jacob's time to shine. jacob was always there for her and will be. he would never do anything to her, but if he did then he would come and tell her that he broke his promise of hurting her. thats y i changed teams.

and i feel sooo srry for him wen she jus walks away from him at the end of new moon... crying crying

and the last thing is that he is HOT!!!

I can honestly say that the reason I like Jacob so much is because he is the character I relate to the most throughout the books. I mean he deals with his strength by sanctioning himself off because he cares about the well being of others rather then himself most of the time. No matter what he wants he puts the needs of others before himself all the time. This is really noble in my opinion, but I'm not so prideful to say I'm noble. I just think a lot of how he puts the values of his people, and his love for Bella before himself. He fights vampires even though the woman he loves wants to be one because his people, and instincts, tell him to. He also gives Bella up to Edward because it is what would make her the most happy. While he wants to be that person for her he doesn't push it to the point where it causes her visible dismay. When she finally chooses he is man enough to still be there for her.

i like jacob becasue he is warm and in the books he was always caring for bella and and he is a big huggable teddy bear! there is soo much good about hiM! if i were ella i would have choosen him over edward in less then a heart beat!
