((This RP tells the story of what happened to Kero during the storm on her way back from the temple. This RP takes place in between The Terrible Storm and As the storm continues..... Obviously, any lion within the cave during these RPs can't be in this RP. That means, new faces. If you are in those RPs and want to be in this one use another one of your lions or you may borrow my Horizon or Zunder, with Ali and my permission. You do have to get their personalities right though. From what Kero told the lions in the cave: She was hunting for a gazell for the cave dwellers when she was attacked by a Zahina lioness. The lioness was desperate for food and willing to kill. She left deep bite marks in Kero's shoulder blade. Kero did win the fight but no one knows how. Maybe she got help? My plan for this RP is: Kero gets caught up in a Dalin verses Zahina lion battle caused by scarce food supplies during the storm. With all the mud and darkness no one knows who is who. Dalins ad Zahinas go against their own kin. Chaos is formed. Somehow it all has to end with Kero getting a gazell and the lioness that attacked her being scared away. If a whole pride could get in on this it would be cool. I don't really want anyone to die in this battle so you may be fierce but not deadly. The moment things get out of hand everyone flees or something. I'm unsure. Post ideas. So Post your ideas here and once at least 2 Dalins and 3 Zahinas (one being Kero) join the RP we can start. More can join if they wish to. Also, should I call this RP Dalin verses Zahina. Who is better? or What Happened To Kero or something else Dalin: Ellipsis, Chandra, Ainesh, Horizon, Damu Zahina: Cobalt, Kero, Malek))

((I'll join with my two Da'lin: Ainesh and Ellipsis. It'd be fun to have them in this situation.
-raises hand- I has an idea! A small group of Zahina lions have just gone hunting (or one, and reinforcements come later). Then some big mean Da'lin come and try to steal the gazelle that had been caught. They get into a fight, and Kero stumbles across it (and reinforcements if one Zahina was hunting). So there's all this fighting and Kero is caught in the middle. Then there is a sudden bolt of lightning that strikes down and hits Ellipsis. She survives though! In the mass confusion caused by this, Kero grabs the gazelle and runs off with it. How's that sound?))

Ooh! Chandra would love to help steal from those stupid Zahinas. And she's nasty enough that she'd be the one to attack her in the first place. And Cobalt, a Zahina, would come to Kero's aid, if he saw her.
And I like "What happened to Kero?" as a title. Or "A Violent Storm."

Oh oh! We have so many Da'lins coming forth, I think it's time for Malek to step up... he'd definitely get into the fight. Also, I prefer "What happened to Kero?". ^^ I also thought about a lightning ray but maybe one that hits the ground between the fighters. So everyone gets stunned and scared and just takes it as a dangerous message from both Gods... a sort of "cut it out!" from above. If you need a Zahina lioness to attack Kero I can provide my "little" Ari but she wouldn't have a go at Kero for the gazelle unless she thought Kero was a Da'lin...

Kero had just finished watching the ceremony at the breeding temple. It was a shame that the cub died before seeing the light of day. Then again, the other cubs had yet to see light, except the light from Kero's fur. She was rather gloomy and walking slow in the rain. Her stomach growled loudly. It would be best if she went back to the cave quickly. Hunting in this weather seemed impossible and the storm grew stronger.
Thunder cracked across the sky. Smoke and cinder could be smelled in the air from a tree reduced to splinters. Smoke, cinder, and... BLOOD! Blood not of a lion. Food must be nearby.
Thunder cracked again. Many silhouettes appeared on the horizon in the direction of the blood. It would take a wile to get there but it was on her way. Her hunger pushed her to go to them. Plus, the other cubs' mother must need food. Kero would make sure they were all fed so they could one day see the light of day.
((This will give people time to start the fight. I'll get my Dalin, Horizon, in on this too))

((Very long RP alert. Sorry, got carried away sweatdrop )) Ellipsis prowled forwards, red eyes narrowed slightly as the pelting rain fell upon her sleek fur. Not that she minded too much, she'd had so much worse, but it was still uncomfortable. All her weight was thrown onto the balls of her feet, allowing her to travel around with a silence that bordered on unnatural. She was a small, insignificant blur on the horizon as far as most were concerned, appearing more as a shadow than a lioness.
Her fangs were drawn out warily, you never knew who could be out there. And this was a lone hunting mission, her pride was safe at home in their caves, so the danger was instantly tripled. Although honestly, she preferred hunting alone. Adapting to pride life was no easy task for the troubled lion. As she carefully scented the air for any prey that might be stupid enough to be out on a day like this, she caught two very different scents.
The first was the overpowering, musky odor of gazelle. It drifted downwards right to her, tainted with the sweet smell of blood that made all her muscles tense up in anticipation and her mouth water. She wanted to bolt right at it and eat, gorge herself to the fill. Yet another scent held her back. Behind her, she could make out the scent of a lion. Male. Definitely Da'lin. And huge. A low growl ripped its way through her throat. How dare some incompetent male follow her like some sweet little Zahina teen? She wasn't one to fall for others.
The two instincts battled within her. To gorge herself to the full, or protect herself and the kill? The decision was instantaneous. Whirling around, she snarled as she stared at the Da'lin before her. He was much bigger than she had imagined, but that was no matter. She was quick and lithe, and even though her fighting wasn't top notch, she was a great defender and could wiggle out of anything. "Who on Earth do you think you are?" Her ears were pressed back angrily, eyes furious. Her entire body was pressed low to the ground in a hostile crouch. The storm had not abated and the stash of rancid food the lion usually kept had run out fast. This did not please the Da'lin. The pouring rain that soaked into his fur and mane did not please him either. Quite on the contrary, he hated how heavy everything felt right now. The thick mud that stuck to his paws, trying to drag him to the ground and slow him down, only angered him further. He hated today, absolutely hated it. With a low growl, he proceeded forwards. There had to be some animal idiotic enough to be out in this. There had better be, or else the next lion he came across would receive his anger. What he wouldn't give for a huge battle with a buck. The raw power running through his body, the agility with which he moved, would leave the powerful creature with no way out other than to be ruefully slaughtered by the lion.
A small speck on the horizon caught his eye. Ainesh's head swung towards it, blue eyes focusing. A lioness. Oh joy. The corners of his lips drew up into a dark grin as his mind flashed back to Nyxie. This would be just perfect. The strategy began to form in his head immediately. He would follow her, allow her to hunt. Then he would come up and share her prey, not that she'd have any choice. Oh yes. And after he was full, she would be his next target. At first, he would appear mildly interested, but then he could come across more and more until she had no choice. And BAM she'd turn into Nyxie number two. Idly he wondered how she was. Probably loaded with cubs right now. He chuckled lightly, wondering what she would do if any of them were Da'lin. He should pay a visit once the cubs grew up, tempt them over.
His paws had led him behind the lioness. A stealthy hunter, that was for sure. And Da'lin too, he hadn't seen that from where he was before. All the better, she'd be a wild one. She must have had a good nose too, because even though he was downwind of her she still scented him. As she turned on him, he shot her a sly smile and stepped out of the bushes he had been hiding behind, trying to ignore the thunder that rumbled overhead. "My name is Ainesh." He said, trying to be polite and to appear charming. When she made no response, he dipped his head politely. "I mean no disrespect, to be following like this. I merely noticed that you were hunting and wished to know if you wanted company. It'd be easier to catch bigger prey, and you could bring some home to your mate and pride if we catch something a bit more meaty." He added that in on purpose, making sure she had no idea of his intentions. "Or I could help fight off whatever lions have hunted the gazelle." The scent wafted down on the breeze over to him. "All I ask is for some meat to keep me from hunger."

((That's fine. I wrote a wall too. I don't mind reading)) Horizon stayed low to the ground, listening to the two Dalins. She had been drawn here by the smell of meat. For her this weather didn't matter. In fact it made it easier on her. She didn't have to be so quiet or stealthy. The storm covered up her existence quite well. Mud, water, a little noise; none of that stuff could kill her. So what if she was dirty? She spent all her life dragging her belly across the dirt and soaking her paws in blood. Getting messy should never come in the way of survival. Her stomach growled in unison with the thunder. She eyed the meat and the Dalins carefully. There would be no quick movements. In the corner of her eye she saw a small light coming toward them. It was probably a dumb firefly.
She went back to eyeing the meat and Dalins. The girl seemed to be a typical lioness out for a meal. She wouldn't give up a meal too easily. And this male... he seemed to have ill intentions. Horizon didn't like his grin one bit. It's the calm nice Dalins that you need to worry about. They're the ones with twisted plans spinning in their heads.
That gazelle was probably for a pride. So, not even the vulture meat would remain for Horizon. She would have to move on and continue hunting. But if she moved they would spot her. She decided to stay. Plus, this lioness may need help with this lion. There was something about him that screamed trouble; and it wasn't the fact that he was Dalin, though that was part of it.

Like many others, Malek had been attracted to the spot by the alluring scent of blood and freshly-killed carcass.
Still, when the shapes of two lions formed in front of him, he froze abruptly. If he’d been a little lighter in color, the blue male would’ve blended perfectly with the wet surroundings. But he wasn’t and if he didn’t take precautions the others would spot his dark silhouette moving closer. He dropped.
The male and the female seemed to be arguing or at least the female was from what he could read from her posture and snarls. The lions’ mud covered paws and the female’s tilted back ears fooled his eyes and Malek didn’t realize he was slowly moving towards two fully grown Da’lins. His crouch was low as he neared them but if normally he might try to stand up for the lady, this time all he wished for was to steal their prey. (No problem! I'm going to delete that post now ^^)

Horizon felt the grass move beside her. It was probably a bug. She didn't leap in fear at things crawling through the grass, even if it was a snake. She would stay frozen and act gracefully. More grass moved. Whatever it was, it was a lot larger then expected. Part of it skimmed across her fur as it moved closer to the two Dalins. Horizon's fur stood on end. Whatever it was, it was huge and covered in fur. She turned her head to see the creature. Her eyes widened and her pupils grew till they enveloped her irises. It was a large dark blue lion. She focused on him in shock. He too must have been after the meat. Judging by his scar he might be more willing to fight for it than Horizon was. She didn't speak to him. They had to remain silent if they didn't want the others to spot them. Still, it was a unique event that another lion was sneaking through the grass where she was staked out.
((Kero is on her way. I'm waiting till a fight starts up. Don't worry I didn't forget her))

((Time to enter contestant number 6 8D)) Normally Damu wouldn't stop and watch such a scene. But this time it was interesting. It seemed the lioness was about to fly into the lion's neck. He had smelled the dead gazelle too and his lips curled into a grin. In this weather it looked like lions were taking reckless decisions to get some meat.
He wasn't quite hungry himself but it would be a bit more difficult to hunt in this storm. Better eat what you can. Flicking his ears around Damu caught the snarls of the lioness and the lion spitting out polite words. He felt the hairs on his back standing up straight. How disgusting. He hated the fakeness in his voice. Such lions didn't deserve to walk around, lying and betraying all the ones they met. But he would deal with that later. Now he had to focus on stealing that prey from right under their noses. Although he was a large lion he preferred the quickness of stealth. But when it had to come to fighting, the opponent would be surprised.
A roar sounded and a flash of lightning struck down. It lit Damu's surroundings up for a split second but it was enough for him to spot another male in the grass. His fur betrayed him. But there was another colored spot beside him... another lion? Damu lay low, working trough possible plans. A good plan was the key to succes he always said. He wondered if there would be more lions present. It would be the wisest to keep low for just a bit longer and watch how things would turn out.

Malek froze abruptly as the tree of lightning descended from above and lit the area for a brief moment. At a ridiculously close distance from him, there was a female. And she was staring right at him.
As their eyes met, the blue male realized she wasn’t just any female either for the unmistakable horns openly revealed her true nature. Da’lin. For a moment, Malek wondered if he should alert the lions ahead to her presence. He was very much aware of how things could turn suddenly bad when Da’lins were involved. And with the never-ending rain pushing every lion to their limits, there was bound to be a good amount of desperation in the air.
That was when he saw it. Unlike the female in front of him who kept her ears flat against her body, the male’s were rather perked up. Da’lin. His eyes darted to the female in front of the striped male in an almost protective way until he saw it… horns. She was Da’lin, too.
Three Da’lins? Was he surrounded? Could there be more? Had he crawled his way into a Da’lin pride? Should he run?
His gaze moved slowly towards the female next to him and his upper lip tightened involuntarily, showing off his canines. With great effort he trapped the snarl that was itching to come out inside his throat. He had to relax. The female next to him hadn’t reacted aggressively so it was unlikely she was with the other two. No, this wasn’t a pride. She was doing the exact same thing he was: stealthily awaiting an opportunity to steal the carcass. As Malek kept his ears pinned against the wet mane, perhaps she hadn’t even noticed he was a Zahina. Still, would she react differently if she had realized it when she had as much interest in remaining hidden as he had? Having the same goal, the same intent, the same method… it almost made him look at her as an accomplice. Ah, a Da’lin partner in crime! He couldn’t suppress a silent mischievous smile and had to look away from the female.
As the wind shifted in various directions bringing many scents with it, Malek was reminded of his situation. Others would be here soon so he needed to focus on the prize. The blue male moved slowly away from the female, making a wide half-circle as he approached the carcass. He looked back at the female with a small grin that clearly stated “Are you coming?”. He could share. There was no way he could ignore her now so he might as well just accept the fact he’d have to work with her. His Da’lin partner.
