I have not been to a Warped Tour in about 8 years. The music started getting lame, it felt all commercial, and I just felt like it had moved on to a younger crowd and different music than I wanted to hear.
This year however, a band called Innerpartysystem is playing. They sound kind of like if you took the pop out of Fischerspooner. Or maybe if Fischerspooner and Assemblage 23 had a kid. xp
My boyfriend is in the music biz and knows the promoter and the guy running the venue, so the entry would be free. However, I live about 500 miles one way from where it's going to be held. redface I am single, I have no children, I really have no obligations holding me back, but the thought of going ~1000 miles miles to see a Warped Tour-sized set of a band I'm sort of just getting into seems excessive. However, I LOVE ROAD TRIPS.
Should I go or is it just... idiotic to even consider? question burning_eyes

GO! Why not? I would! It'd be a really good chance to get out of the state, and go see something you usually wouldnt (warped tour,) even if you are just going for one band. Maybe something interesting will pop up?
