Welcome to the forum. This is a place for you to air your negative feelings, because sometimes, just writing about it helps. Since this will be the nexus of all negative emotions in the guild, the rules will be more important in this forum than perhaps the rest of the guild.

1.) Follow Gaia's ToS, as well as the rules of this guild.

2.) If your vent is about another member of this guild, or another member of Gaia in general, DO NOT MENTION NAMES. This will result in a strike and the topic will be moved to the Restricted Area. Likewise, if you know you are the source of a person's anger or frustration, DO NOT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION. This will result in a strike against you as well.

3.) Be sympathetic towards a topic author's point of view. Don't say, "Well you're just wrong" or start making fun of the topic author. If you can't say anything nice, helpful, or understanding, then kindly refrain from clicking the Reply button. Redirect your cursor to the Back button instead. Failure to comply will result in a strike against the poster and the post being modified or deleted. If none of the Captains catch the thread in time and a conflict erupts, the thread will be moved to the Restricted Area and the offenders given strikes.

4.) This should go without saying, after reading rule number 2. Absolutely NO THREATS will be permitted in posts. If you feel you're to a point where you have to threaten someone, post it somewhere else, send an angry PM to yourself, or PM one of the Captains to help you defuse (especially myself or Alori, and you can separate by gender if you choose.)

5.) Try not to post anything you know will start a fight. This is an abuse of the forum and will result in the topic author receiving a strike, as well as the thread being moved to the Restricted Area.

6.) While we're not out to police your vents, please remember that there are children on Gaia, and they will have just as much access to this guild and its forums as you do. As such, attempt to cut down as much on your swearing as possible, even if you have to make up silly words on the spot to use instead (i.e. Fruckaduck, shiitake mushrooms, etc.)

I know these rules seem like a lot, but they're really in place to help everyone, including you. Believe me, it is possible to follow all these rules and still vent your frustration.

I hope this forum will prove to be a useful tool in helping you release your anger. Because, after all, anger leads to the Dark Side (See? There's that humor again).
