The world has recently lost the one and only Kind of Pop and I think a moment of silence to remember and honor his impressive career would be a nice gesture.
Though, since he was a music star, maybe "silence" isn't as appropriate as a two and a half hour long marathon of all of his songs. sweatdrop I think I've memorized all the moves to Thriller.

I agree with you. He was creepy, but I did like a couple of songs from him.

Michael Jackson was a great artist.
He accomplished so much in his career from when he was a kid up until the whole child molestation accusations..that's when his career seemed to go down hill.
I didn't really find him "creepy"..more troubled and tragic.
It's obvious he had a lot of issues that were never dealt with.
I think he was picked on a lot though.
Way more than other artists have been all because he was so passive.
So a lot of people took advantage of that and made fun of him a lot because he wouldn't stand up to it or show he had much of a backbone to fight against it.
It's kind of sad really some of the questions people have asked him and how they treated him.
Most people would be ashamed or embarrassed to ask those questions to other artists because of the reaction they would receive.
But with Michael they knew they could get away with saying anything & acting out anything about him and he wouldn't fight back.
I found him to be an easy target for entertainment.
There was a lot of money grubbing people around him also.
