Three games ive never heard f(Loki, Dungeon Lords, and Gothic 3.
AND VISTA WONT PLAY ANY OF THEM.

Are you sure it's nothing to do with the graphics card? I've played games on vista's fine.

For Loki I think it's my card, but the other two. they wont even load up. And ive tried running them both under Compatibility mode and as Administrator.

Well when were the games made?
Cause I have a few games only for Windows 95/98, and they won't run on XP/

The first Myst game with no problems. Not to mention Gothic II, Might And Magic 9, and Stronghold. And they all worked fine on XP.

And they all worked fine on XP. then maybe your computer is outdated? I couldn't load CS on my computer because the Steam software was outdated.

It has 4 gb RAM, 500 GB of HD space, a dual core processor The only thing that sucks about it is the lack of a vid card.

Have you tried to update your video card? Like go and buy an up-to-date one, but have it run neck and neck with your machine, and not blow it up like I did once sad
