Considering how few of us there are, I can't see a chat room being sucessful. We already have access to message boards. So, while I'm not against the idea of a website, I don't particularly see the point.
As for hosts...Unless you want something tacky, as far as I know you have to be decent with either html or the sort of code Gaia is built on or the like to make a decent website. It would all depend on what kind of site we were looking for. =s I'd offer to help, but I have very little experience with html, and none with anything else.

Who said it just going to be us....I am hoping more people get involed... mabey some children of the 70's.... or at least people who have graduated ( and not just high school)
as for host...all most people on this site can only afford is tacky, but we got to start somewhere and until I get a job (which I hope will be by next week) this is all we got.

I make the websites for that site, I can make you one for free but my managers will charge you for server space and a forum. We could always make a free forum, forumer aren't too bad.

Not A Number www.ibrothers.org I make the websites for that site, I can make you one for free but my managers will charge you for server space and a forum. We could always make a free forum, forumer aren't too bad. as long as it free a form is great idea.

we could base one off of freewebs then hook it up with a .tk account so it would have a domain..... if we spent enough time programing we could have a free website with unlimited space....

A few things that I'd like add.
1) .tk domains kind of suck cause you have a bar on the page that you can't get rid of.
2) If you're aiming for a free site, you're not going to get a good one that doesn't have advertisements.
3) A chatroom or message board on the site would be silly seeing as we have Gaia. The only reason to have an off site forums would be if we weren't directly affiliated with Gaia.
