Lying at the border between town and iron country and characterized by Heavy and frequent rainfall the Taka Rainforest is chock full of broad leafed evergreen trees which form a leafy canopy high over the forest floor.

Due to the relative lack of sunlight the undergrowth consists mostly of small shrubs and many many vines. The relatively sparse vegetation making it possible for people and animals to walk through the forest, that is if they can handle the sticky heat that seems to permeate the forest at all times of the day.

Somewhere within the trees lies the debilitated ruins of a former Raging cell base.

Yuki trudged behind Daniel, cutting away the thick vegetation that was in the way with his katana. His cloak, a sandy tan color, tattered at the bottom edge, was dripping from the rain. Still, it kept some of it off of him. The combined heat and humidity fogged up his glasses, but the rain kept wiping in away, making his vision constantly fluctuate. "Hey, Daniel-sempai," he said loud enough to be heard above the rain pouring down on every surface, but especially the canopy. "Are we getting any closer to the Raging Cell base? This entire forest just looks the same to me..." Yuki swiped away several more vines. "Zira-sempai, May, how are you holding up back there?" he asked, looking over his shoulder at his other teammates.

somewhere along the way woe catches up with the rest of you *panting*"i was sent to join you"he is wearing mostly camo on account of the rainforest settings, and combat boots, equipped with a wood sword left over from a movie he did, a real sworg and a somewhat large knife*slaps at his own face*"grr i hate how nomatter how much clothes you have on mosquitos can always bite you"

"OH SH(ITAKE MUSHROOM)" woe pulls out his knife and starts slashing at the plant cutting off the main head from the rest of the plant then carfully cutting it open

Hearing Woe complain about the mosquitoes May tilted her head quizzically. "Strange, no insects seem to be biting me." She mused out loud even as Daniel slumped to the ground.

Her face impassive May gave Daniel a quick bio scan to try and determine what was wrong and soon realized that he had gone into a similar offline state as when she had been hit by a rail gun round. The scans seemed to indicate that the pollen was the root of the problem.

Cross referencing the pollen she brought up a file on the Jupiter man eating trap, a file that seemed sketchy at best, almost as if parts of it had been altered and omitted over time. It was an artificial life form that had been created by a legendary ninja botanist over a centenary ago, it was also rare and highly sought after for the special sleeping power it could produce which could easily put a man into a coma for weeks if they did not recivive proper medical treatment.

Reading her sword May prepared to step in and slay the plant since she was at little risk of succumbing to the pollen when Woe suddenly began attacking it which was causing the plant to spew an alarming amount of the toxic substance.


Realizing that if she didn't act quickly the entire group was in danger of being exposed to the sleeping powder May quickly decided upon a course of action and followed through with it.

"Proceeding with decontamination procedure" She calmly called out. Then with out warning she opened her mouth generating a whirring sound similar to a vacuum cleaner as she literally sucked the spores out of the air and into a specialized storage chamber where her right lung would have otherwise been located.

In seconds the air had been cleared thanks to the fact that Woe seemed to have uccessfully killed the plant. With the air clear of an containments May ceased her suction and followed up by calmly spitting up a few stray rocks and leafs that had been caught up as well but where too big to pass through the filter built into her throat.

When Yuki asked what they where going to do now May started to calculate their options.

"I estimate that their is an above 75 percent chance that Daniel will cease to function if we leave him here alone. Splitting up to take him back to the village will reduce our operational capacity by at least 45 percent, raising the odds of use failing our mission to unacceptable parameters. I propose that we bring him with us. Doing so will slow us down by 25 percent allowing our backup to catch up with us and give him time to reboot." explained May as she bent over and picked up Daniel with one hand hefting his unconscious form up as if he was light as a feather.

Stumbling through the forest, Death approached the group and he was covered in vines, leaves, and dirt. "God, I hate this place. Everything's out to get me, even the stupid little flowers. I keep tripping on stuff and walking into things... when do we get out?" As he was talking, Death noticed Daniel and the chopped up plant. "What the heck? Even I'm not that oblivious that I'd get attacked by that thing." This was a lie, if Daniel had not been attacked it would definitely have been Death.

May starred down at the leather pouch Foji had handed her for several long seconds analyzing it to insure it could safely contain the pollen with out risk of leaking any of the dangerous substance.

"Affirmative, proceeding to transfer sample" She replied to his question as she opened the pouch slightly then tipped her head forward causing a small stream of dry powder to fall from her mouth and into the bag for several seconds before seizing once she judged that she had transferred enough of the sand like substance for Foji to work with.

Closing the pouch tightly May silently handed it back over to Foji before turning then pointing towards the north, north east. "Rumination, I detect a a faint radio signal from that direction, given that general lack of technology in our vicinity it would be logical to conclude it is coming from the ruins we are seeking."
