Area description
Please read carefully

The description has been narrowed onto the focal point instead of going from a broad area to the location of the object. The object is located on my desk against the northern wall of my kitchen. If you need more of a description let me know, but hopefully what I provide should be enough.

You will have to excuse the mess upon my desk. I tend to spend a fair amount of time here so it accumulates a great deal of clutter depending on the project I am working on. The desk itself is made of particleboard with a vinyl covering to give it a woody appearance. It really isn’t very large. The table top has just enough space to hold my lap top and a small scanner/printer. But it does have reasonable cubby space. The base has a cupboard which contains craft items, mostly markers, and coloured pens and pencils, but there is some stuff for scrap-booking, sewing and knitting. In the cubbies above my printer, there is a blue binder which contains the first ½ of a manuscript I’ve writing. Beside it are some DS games my DS light (coral), and instruction manuals for the various electronics and games around my desk. And actually above my computer there is a red photo box, a Kleenex box scrap paper and a medium size Tupperware container with random items in it. There is a container of candies, a bracelet that needs the clasp replaced, a back brace, I-pod, Tarot Cards and my camera.

But really none of that is important as the object rests upon the top shelf. Most of the items are various figurines and pictures. But there is also some glassware and a vas as well as the object in question. The pictures are primarily of my hubby paired up with a member of his family (Mom, cousin & baby brother), and there is one of my two nephews. Most of the figurines are glass, depicting Pegasus, unicorns, and Chinese dragons. There are two soap stone wolf carvings, a pewter wizard that has fallen over, my ceramic yellow baby, a gold metallic racing car that has a small clock (needs a new battery), a clear oil lamp, and two ceramic baby dragons in swim suits. Behind that is a ceramic wolf, the white vas holding pink fabric flowers and at the back right hand corner is my little girl figure that can hold onto sewing items if needed. The object sits towards the front and obscures a couple of the glass dragons, the vas and the girl figure.
