So have you ever been down to the Art Colony at Montmartre? I'll tell you now it's absolutely amazing and it's also where I got the title for this thread.
Me being me, I decided to start a thread where everybody could post their artwork though I'm not sure how necessary it'll be since many of y'all already have your own threads to post things in. But I figured I'd post some pictures but I doubt there'll be too many of them and so decided that it would be best to have a thread where anyone could post artwork. That's so me, yeah? xD

Rules
We love them, we hate them, but no matter what we feel about them, we have to have them, sadly enough.
Swearing is normal nowadays, though don't overdo it. You may think it's cool, but it's just irritating to others.
PG-13 is kind of required, considering that gaia is supposed to be a child-friendly site, (they make more money that way.) so let's keep the artwork pg, yeah? No porn or explicit crap, please, or my eyes might start bleeding.
Um... yeah... I think that's pretty much it, though its possible I'll end up with either myself, or your mods changing this at any time, so yeah. Have fun kiddies.

I especially like her pants and shoes...the shading is really well done too. Did you hand draw this or...what program did you use?

xD I did, didn't I? Well every now and then a picture turns out well, and I've been practicing a lot more with chibis so they've been getting better. Plus she doesn't actually have eyes, which helped a lot. since eyes tend to kill my faces in general and ruin the whole picture for me. She's actually my favoritest person picture ever, replacing a picture that I drew for my roomie.
And yes, I like the shading as well. Coloring is my favoritest part of drawing. (Oh, and yes favoritest is my word for the night.)
I drew it by hand on my tablet using Corel, which is the default program microsoft provides you with for their tablet pcs.

Thankies muchly, Keira! I'm glad you like everything, cause it sure took me long enough to draw it... jk but to be honest there are parts of her that I'm not very fond of. Like the brim of her hat... and the... sketchiness... and her neck is too long... and the fact that if you look a little closer at the picture, it gets kind of messy.. Her skin is too white as well, but since one of the reasons I picked her avi was because I wouldn't have to find the proper color of skin, then I'll leave the fact that I forgot to shade it alone.
I should just shut up, shouldn't I? Or else I'll end up naming everything bad all night and y'all will have your vision of my picture ruined and then you'll want to kill me for pointing out all the flaws that you didn't think were important.. xD

And Corel is quite basic without all that much going for it really except that it came free with tablety-ness of the compy.
And I'm glad you like it Harx, since it is you after all. It would just be depressing if you disliked it. xD

Okay, again this is for me and my sister. Sake, this pic reminded me of Sake and Yumi. ^w^ I edited the picture a smidge, and cropped them into two individual pics. TADA! TO: Twilight Gale, the best art thieves/mercenaries alive. ;3 (also, I wasn't sure what to put on Sake's...soooooo...I just came up with that. xD)
