sweatdrop Didn't know if I should post a hi or not. But I have been on Gaia awhile now. Always been a fan of Rains art. I do art myself - mostly pencil/ink works but am getting better with colorising on the computer. I am in college right now and want to open a coffee shop next year. sweatdrop Whew. Anyway. Anything else you want to know just ask. 3nodding

Yo everyone , my names Neotaki , Neo for short and I've been on gaia for a pretty good while. I was always a fan of the old caits but never tried to get one since I hate performing immpossible tasks. When I started the Squee thread I had this urge to get a new pet and since RP heavy stuff kind of downs he I remembered the caits....lucky me a flatsale was approaching , at first I was going for me but then Ace mentioned Sosi wanted one so I put my own agenda aside and luckily came in 5'th out of 5 for her x.x. Then later that night Ace won me my first baby Alu'Il...say Hi Alu

then about a week or somethin later Ruri mentioned that Rain did a custom trade for a custom Squee...which gave me a fairly well needed boost of encouragement. I sent Rain a thank you pm for showing interest and she offered me one too

Hey. ^_^ I'm Liz/Kos/Heyyou/whatever you wanna call me. ^_^ I haven't been on Gaia TOO long, but... It's cool. *peace signs* I mostly hang out in Breedables, really, and have a couple of my own shops. ^_^
I got Catalina through pet-trade. And I really need to move my end of the trade along. x_x I hate being busy sometimes.

Hiii~ I'm Ruri. X3 My Gaia 1st year anniversary was exactly 22 days ago, I've been an avid player on the site since I started. I wasn't really introduced into the breedables until, oh, December maybe? Somewhere around there... I still don't post often, I tend to be really shy and people intimidate me alot. x3 Oh well! I suppose it's better to begin early in tight-knit groups.
I saw the old caits and wanted one terribly, but I was still early in my breedables obsession and couldn't get one. ^^; When it reopened, I found my opportunity in the guest auctions. I tend to do well in auctions, considering I'm a packrat and such. XD I had recently sold my corsage for reserves for the seraphii auction. That, obviously, never happened. Soo, I had alot saved up, loved the one Riana colored, and went into an all-out bidding war against Cyr. In the end, I won, and so I recieved my first cait, Arilae. I spent the next week or so admiring the winged caits, wondering how mine would look. Much to my surprise (and joy) I found bat wings! I was quite pleased. X3
The next baby, Fai, was done through a pet trade. When Rain opened them up, I jumped at the chance of a custom cait. She quite liked the squeekats I colored for Neo's shop, so we set up a trade (which later triggered Neo's trade for Isis.) And so! I now have Fai and Rilly and am quite happy.
And I wuv Neo. heart

'Lo all! I be Snookie/Fallen/Alexa/"Hey you bloody fangirl!"/Whatever! I've got tons of names and I'll answer to just about anything. I joined Gaia back in September of last year. The Caits were my first breedable and as soon as I got Seki I was hooked. To this day I've got 4 Caits (And I'm hoping to get one more! Just to you know, max myself out and whatnot) and I'm pretty active in the shop thread.
Getting Seki was a fluke. She came in a litter of Rain's Caits? back when the old thread was still around. Eventually, she bred with Korbin and they had a litter of 5. I, of course, had to keep one, so that's how I got Riimu. Laaater Riimu bred with Sera and they had a litter of 4, and lil Clayton came out of it. As soon as I got 'im, I decided that Clayton wasn't going to breed, but I never got a chance to reinforce that since shortly after the old shop closed down. When the new thread started up again I managed to get my hands of Klippert, and that's how all my Caits came to be.
Klippert: You forgot to mention that I kick a**.
Riimu: Pssh, you forgot to mention that he's a DEMON.

Allo all. I'm Prolixity, or Prox. I've been on Gaia for nearly six months now. Breedables was the second forum I wandered into, and I never left. I run one reasonably successful shop and have way too many pets.
I wanted a Cait ever since the first time I saw them. I got my Cheri in a raffle, just before the first shop closed down. I'm very lucky to have her. She's my little pink princess. ... I'm hoping to eventually get a winged Cait, but if I never do, I'll still be happy with just Cheri.

I am the Neko 3nodding ... but more specifically, I'm Nekoluch/Pudding-san/Ru. Rain is one of Neko's fav Mods >^_^< I've praised and worshipped from afar when I wasn't able to get a Cait, but when the chance came about for the PERFECT Cait (for me :3 ), I couldn't let it pass.

This here is Plum or, as I like to call her, Plumie. >^___^< She likes fruits, the outdoors, and windy weather heart Her name was lovingly given due to the markings on her forehead; they reminded me of tiny Plums *giggle*

*waves* Hi, all. I'm Trio - I've not been very active in the Cait shop yet, but was lucky enough to be a good friend to an owner of a Cait who knew I really wanted one. I tend to be shy and simply lurk in shops where I don't have a pet.
The long and short of it is that Youkochylde gave me Brigit back during the last few weeks before the old shop closed, and I'm utterly in love with her. He and I have done some playing between Brigit and her father and brother, but now that I'm back from a hiatus from Gaia, I'm hoping to get a bit more active with several pets - Brigit included.
So... here I am! biggrin

Hey, this is Ameh (or Amy, I'd prefer), blinking at all the previous posts in this thread and being amazed at the historical information and past of Cait-receiving and... Gaia'ness. I first joined Gaia near the end of November '03 and embarassingly enough, I hung out in the Chatterbox section for a couple days. I later found the Minishops section and decided I'd open my own minishop - and sold my art in the form of chibified avatar drawings. They were about 150 x 250 pixels each and if you want to see how ugly I drew, click here. My first customer was Sosiqui and I wondered what the purple on her name meant... and wished my name was purple-colored too cause I thought it was prettier than black. :< I first found out about Gaia through Neopets, on someone's profile sometime in March '03. I was too lazy to check it out, so I ignored it and then I found someone talking about Gaia again in October. I went to it and saved it in my favorites. A month later, I finally joined.
After being bored in the Minishops section, I ventured into Breedables and to my amazement, saw some of my most idolized artists and couldn't believe it was them, like Leelakins and her Feli. I wanted to take a try at producing a semi-popular breedable pet too, and so enlisted the help of my long-lost friend (currently long-lost, I'm still trying to find her) Razih and drew some random raccoon-like thing. I made Razih create an interest thread because I was too shy to make one myself, and to my surprise, found that many people liked em including another idol, Precious Flame (and I'm still surprised she liked em o.o; ) and my first breedables shop was born.
Later, a second breedables shop was born.
I then went into hiatus for about three-quarters of a year, and now I'm back.
My first Cait was from Rain's first batch of cits. I remember that I had to go to bed soon but couldn't get off until I got one, but also because she said she'd have the auction for her first batch soon. I stayed and autobought a blue cit with faded white-blue eyes who is now called Kitah for 5k. Soon, other cits in the batch were autobought quickly and Kitah was the first Cait ever to have the mouse familiar. :3
Kitah soon bred with >Jin<(sp?)'s Inu (a green Cait with a fox familiar) and they had four cits that were given to Desi, Polaris, Mikie_Grl, and I got myself Koto from that litter.
Kitah then bred with Tortie's Korbin and they had 5 cits, which were given to Razih, Tortie, Chinook, keikana, and myself (Kiru).
And all of them were upgraded and lived happily ever after. : D
Now, a new litter will soon come from Koto and DDB's Moro that I paid 275k pure for and I may or may not update this when that happens. x.x;

Hi I'm Kaoya. I'm glad to be in the guild. smile I got my beautiful little Cait Shiar'loa as a custom. 4laugh I really love her and thank DDB for colouring her. ^^ I hope to have fun here with all of you Cait owners.

Shiar loves the outdoors and the sun. She also likes making friends with other Cait since she didn't have anyone to play with as a Cit.

This has kinda turned into an "about the players" thread, which is kinda cool. biggrin
Let's see... I started playing on Gaia 4 July 2003. Looking back, I wish I had known about donation items then so I could have gotten a halo. *wink* Unfortunately, I didn't even touch the forums at that time; I spent all my time looking through & rating the artwork, gving the occational comment. After a while I got bored with that (& busy with buying a new house, moving, dealing with contractors, etc) so I left Gaia for a while.
I "refound" Gaia again that December... after I learned Timex & I were going to have a baby & I was 5 months along. Finally looked at the threads after talking with the friend who led me here & wanting to get the Angelic Sash she had. That's how I started in the Exchange & Charity Forums. Spent a little time in Chatterbox too; mostly for poll-gold, but I tried out a "counting" thread & even had my own where we sang "the song that never ends" forever.
Then I saw a cait in someone's sig. That was the end for me. I forget whose cait it was but I really wanted to find more about it. So I searchedm asked questions & finally got to breedables & the Cait shop. That was sometime in january 2004 I think.
RainFox was getting ready to move, so I figured I'd have no chance. Started looking for other pets, but alwys came back to the caits. Even Timex liked them best of the pets I was interested in. For some reason, I read the entire thread, page for page. *laughs* I don't back read like that now, but it gave me insight of the people there & made me want a cait even more.
The nominations thread was put up for the "last" caits RainFox was going to give away. I crossed my fingers & hoped to be nominated, despite that I really hadn't posted much. Only problem with lurking, I've discovered. sweatdrop On congratulating Sika-chan for choosing Jacent others realized I didn't have a cait. I was really overwhelmed & grateful for the response that I recieved how they would have nominated me had they realized I didn't have one yet. It was touching, & almost ment more than if I had been nominated.
April 1st came & Timex & I spent the day together ... it was our Engagement anniversary (yeah I know... some people choose romantic days to propose... mine chose April Fool's Day. He had his reasons & he was extremely romantic about it. *dreamyeyes*) so it wasn't until the next day that I noticed I had the last slot. @_@ Imagine my surprise... someone had given up their spot for me so that I could have a cait. I was so tickled, that even though I found out who did it I forgot again not long after. I think it was Bran-chan though. *grins* It's fitting with her personality. *hugs*
I've been visiting with caits off & on ever since. Only added one other pet, & that's Tien my kunkun. That's another story, however. :3nods:
