Is your parent's cool with you being who you are. Or are they ashamed...etc. Me for one, Straight as can be.

My mom hates me because of my sexual perference. I think it has to do with her idea of a perfect daughter and wanting to do my wedding and what not..and If i get married to a women...

I haven't told my parents.
But I hinted and asked my mum about things related to being bi/gay.
She said "Being gay is just wrong, I don't want anyone to turn out like that."
And I'll never forget that, ever.

I think all parents want to have 'normal' kids. If their child is gay/lesbian/bisexual it's against what is 'normal'. So if they aren't 'normal' they feel like it's a disgrace and that their kid isn't good enough or is this complete monster or some sort.

Yea. Though if I ever have kids, I'll let them be who they want to be. I don't think there's anything 'monster' about being homosexual.

I'm really lucky that my parents do accept me. my whole family does. I was only really surprised by a few of them accepting me though. But I do think it's kind of hypocritical that parents say "I'll support you in whatever you do." and then you come out and they turna blind eye.

Well, my mom kind of saw me on a LGBT section on another website and she kind of found out, because she's just one of those people who come up behind you and stay there, asking " what are you doing?" while your on the computer. So yeah, my sister was cool with it, my dad didnt say anything, and my mom thought it was wrong but she got used to it after the first two days and kind of stopped caring about it.

My Dad hated me being bi..He would insult me constantly..abuse both physical or mental/emotional..Ah fun times cry

My mom still thinks I'm straight, she's completely oblivious even though I outright told her..."Mom! I'm GAY!"
lmao.
and my dad, well, here's how the conversation went.
"Dad, I have something to tell you."
"Oh lord, what?"
"I"m gay, I like girls.."
"Oh..duh. I knew."
he doesn't care, lol.

same with mine ha ha I initially came out as bi because I was unsure and she was like "thats what you think" and I naturally took it the wrong way then like sixth months later I was like "yea I'm actually gay" and she was like "Oh trust me I know."

OMG, my parents like to creep up behind me and ask 'What are you doing?' too D:
But oh wells, I'm writting notes on how the gay community is like in facebook for my friends to read so I can show them there's nothing wrong with it.

I'm not out to my friends, but I think most of them kind of wonder. I'm always making jokes about it and they tease me.
And I made a comment one time that they would feel bad if i came out as a lesbian and my friend was like, I'd laugh and say I knew that already.
Most part- they are cool as long as I don't hit on them or something. The only reason why I'm not really out is simply cause of the small town if they knew, everyone else would find out too type thing. I live in a small religious town. Go figure.

Well my mum knows but is more concerned whether i get a gf or not.... i think shed prefer me to have a boyfriend but i am very lucky with her compared to some.

That's nice to hear.
I've just came out to my best friend, a girl, she was alright but asked if I was interested in the guy she liked. Because she felt that I liked him.
Hmm. Weird. But she's still a friend, so it'd good.
I'm not sure if I should come out to my friends because from where I live, alot of people, especially students, picture homosexuality as wrong.
