Hello,
My name is Drew. I Currently work for a company Named Keane where i tackle a number of IT related tasks, mainly I'm doing Web Development and Automated Testing. the Web Development is currently limited to internal Tools
i have trained in several arts for varying amounts of time. these include
>Shotokan Karate
>Traditional non-competition Tae Kwon Do. ( meaning it's not tournament based and back to the original teachings)
>Wing Chung KungFu
>Jinenkan Taijitsu
>Kindai Bujitsu
as well as bits and pieces of different schools. Though its been a while since I've Done anything but Kindai Bujistsu.
I am Currently Staff and Instructor In Kindai Bujistsu.
Kindai Is a Very Modern take on a Very Tradition format. We follow traditional customs and procedure, such as bows and ranking, titles, mannerism and mentality. but the movements and techniques and teaching methods are constantly evolving to better suit the modern world and analyze every technique to understand why we do it and where we do it. for example we don't punch the face in any place but the nose, because the bones in your Fingers (knuckles) are more fragile than the bones of your opponents head. that's why we use Palm Strikes.
