Last Month in Review...
04/02/05: we have gone to 129 members, we are currently set to public, as we've only had one random post the entire time, although once we do our second major donation, (an excess of 400k) we will go private and charge entrance fees. In the meantime, anyone who wants to join, may do so for free.

Thus far, character registry has not been successful, although during our last tournament event, it was discovered quite quickly that characters which were not registered, were 10 times more likely to godmode. We are hoping to hold out long enough to make it to the battle system, although that may be difficult. We will soon have a new front page banner and title.

Most people missed the 12 hours we spent as a L33T guild (the OMGWTFBBQ Guild), during April Fools xd

The RIP Guild should be opening officially, quite soon, like, in 2 days or less, so it should be interesting. If you were there at the opening party, and saw the big stock market black and white RIP banner, - that was me

asfar as character registry is concerned, our next mission will be to clean through our dregs of exsiting members, and categorize godmoding/power scale on 1-10. We must also devise a method of keeping tabs on characters once they have stats, without directly giving their stats away. From this system, we will also open up a Hall of Fame.

I want people to pay attention to birthday lists, so we can give out stuff on people's birthdays heart

Last 2 weeks in Review...
Our numbers jumped to 94 members, still way under projected estimates. There were two tournaments during this time, and the Annual Gaian ball while new features installed and a server hardware problem created a variety of difficulties in projected growth.
Sieg is no longer a possessed "ka" demon which should keep the demand for god moding down a bit, at least for the 147 members of Lu Bu. We've begun work on the skeleton frame of an bit of network interlacing through Lu Bu image maps.
The objective is to ping pong the sites so they all direct toward the Network and the Network then directs outward toward them. I'll be tossing my character up for Review and answering any and all questions you may have about Anthon Michael Noire. Obviously, using the "brief" version is too vague for criticisms, so I'll be using the Mideval Version, which in most ways is identical to the Modern variant.
Doji's character should be up before 6 AM PST.

Fighter's guild was Sold to Dlastbird of E.V.I.L Reloaded. FMA set it up as a punishment for lack of participation in their guild, which he worked very hard to set up. Meanwhile, they have reorganized, Sieg's character is possessed by a Demon, our number of judges has increased significantly, and the bottom line: we have 4 characters approved at this time, and expect many more in the future. Our next tasks are Tensuke, Mirishi, Doji, and the Mafia member.
It is also important to start hotlinking the guilds and threads we belong to, as it will be listed in the first post of memberlists, very shortly. I've got to go to the captains guild to check up on announcements and guild exchanges.
In the meantime, try not to post characters which are paradoxical and can blow up the universe simply by existing. 3nodding

We organized our first meeting last week, and managed to review several characters. Of that group, the first one for a complete approval was Sieg, and we expect shortly therefore, with just one more required signature on 3 other people (a werewolf, a girl with blade leaves, and Kenji__III) the number of members should steadily increase, as our format and system is refined.

btw: you thinking of 'The Day After Tomorrow'? great movie, I have it on DVD.

and 'can control wind' is pretty vague. Not too long ago I looked at Kenji's profile in his journal and saw 'can move faster than light'. When I asked for an explanation as to how exactly he did that, he said he would just remove it because he couldnt come up with an explanation. Not exactly the same thing, but I think it's related. I think if he can't come up with a legitimate explanation, he should just remove it.

judging by what limited information is provided there, my guess is on local. his 'create storms' probably ranges from generating thunderheads to creating small tornadoes, both of which seem fairly feasible, but would take a decent amount of energy. Too much beyond that and it becomes seriously impractical for fighting.

good idea, good point.

In my opinion, you shouldnt use something in Gaia that you don't understand.

I believe this character tried to join my forum fighting guild... yes weather is quite the questionable matter. Weapons appearing out of "MID AIR" so to speek is a way of godmodding and should be banned at least this is my outtake.

i think i'm gonna want to post my profile up here to try to get approved,

my comments about drifter: his abilities and techniques are a bit confusing, no commas or anything, i can't tell what the different styles are. They are also very vauge with info on their abilities, they say that they can create weapons out of mid air, what exactly does he mean by "out of mid air" and how could he create them? i realize that my profile isnt much better in that regard, but i'll be changing that fairly soon....but i'm on the fence, i think that with a bit of tweaking he could create a very good character 3nodding

The first one didn't say can summon an endless amount.

Plus in her second one she gave her bio as 3rd person, and said

"She survived and was raised by a bounty hunter who taught her his trade and introduced her to different associates of his who could teach her how to use her own powers."

the first one:
"I survived and was raised by a bounty hunter who taught me his trade."

As many complications as it may create, I propose that we construct a brief course on how to RP with efficiency and fairness.
