I looked it up, bit it's all for D/P. The moves, I can't get them in Ruby.

Well in a competitive enviroment I see it to be more like a sponge of some sorts it get´s a defense of 306 maxed out, or a 339 sp defense... then again benig ni the SP I guess you wanted to use it on a journey...

I´ll go for dragon dance, it can take some damage to boost speed and attack, then proced to kick your enemies out, physical moves shall be better... then again physical in those gens we´re more like a types.. fly is physical, go sky attack... and earthquake...

then again natural cure is nothing to look down to... you can teach it some stat induce moves like sing while taking advantage of it´s defenses, if you´re almost going to die... rest... switch (this idea is not so good while having dragon dance, by switching you lose your boost)

so many posibilities

Sky attack and Earthquake would be your best bet.

if you're the defensive type like me:
Dragonbreath
Safeguard
Mist
Fly/Aerial Ace/Sky Attack(maybe after Dragonbreath's paralysis)
actually these moves are better suited for a double battle
