Paleo Forest

A large, sacred forest of the Dekus. It is a wonderous spectacle of nature, containing trees that are more than centuries old, many older than a millenium. The Dekus are very protective of this forest, forbidding entrance to many foreigners and Dekus that aren't deemed worthy and respectful to the forest. The forest stays green all year, despite the fact that the trees are not evergreen.

The sun shines dimly through the vast amounts of trees here, and trickles down under the branches and the high canopy of the forest. There are supposedly lots of relics of ancient times here. The air is crisp and fresh, and a simple waft of the refreshing breeze, in olden days, was said to cure many common illnesses, and many people with allergies find it surprisingly easy to breathe here.
