i was in it throughout middle school and highschool and when I graduated my original plans were to go to blue devils and do fantasia for winter like my friends did but I couldnt afford it sad and I still really want to do it
maybe some day i will but by then I'll probably suck lol
does anyone else who graduated miss it and want to do it again someday? crying
what guard did you wanna go to if you do?

I miss color/winter guard so bad! I was captian when I was in high school, and I would love to do WGI I agian but I can't until I'm done with my enlistenment in the US Navy. I'm not sure what I would go for because I've marched Teal Sound, and I'm done aged out of DCI, and the WGI I want to join is retired, so Idk.

OMG I miss guard, it's kinda sad the only two schools that I liked the programs and the set up of the campuses don't have a guard, only a pep band... So sad, my last 2 yrs in High School I was in Guard and I think it was the best thing I ever did. Best time of my life at that!!

I's been 2 years since I stopped and I am going nuts. I marched King Philip in HS for 5 years, Sacred Heart for 5 and Spartans DBC for 4. Imight get to teach at kp tho heart

I'm 26, i stopped marching 3 years ago and I miss it everyday. I marched SCV for DCI, wanted to march for the winterguard also, but decided to march Corona, when Corona folded I stopped spinning. When I see all the pictures from my friends who are still spinning for SCV and Fantasia, and even worse Blast! I get soooo jealous! But its time for me to start my life. I still try to stay involved and help with some of my old teams. its what keeps me sane! But those of you who want and are still able to, can always march for any WGI world class team, and for those who want to march drum corps can march for a DCA team. most of those teams are on the eastern side of the country, but there is an east coast team based out of Frisco called San Francisco Renegades. good people in all circuits. Message me if you want to talk Guard. smile I miss it so much!
