Might be a stupid question about something I missed in the books, but whatever. I just wanna ask, how are they the same? I know that they differ in jewel placements and all that, but official pictures and stuff have them look exactly the same. I wanna know, because, didn't he get them at two different places altogether? It's been annoying me for a while now.

He got Twinkle from a Harpell if I remember correctly or some other wizard, and he got Icingdeath from the ice dragon's cave and treasure hoard. They are same by these standards that I know of
1.Both Scimitars
2. Both Magically enchanted
But of what I know that is where the similarites end, Twinkle is the defending scimitar (going off of dark alliance 2) and Icingdeath is the primary scimtar for attacking and crap therefore it is stronger. Twinkle emits a blue glow while Icingdeath doesn't emit any glow. The fan girls will know more than I do, but that is just a little basics. I never paid much attention to the scimitars.

The artists are usually too lazy to draw two different scimitars.
I found a picture from Todd Lockwood that shows you how the scimitars look. Quite nice. Been meaning to post it up.
This {LINK} goes directly to his site and the thumbnails under the picture close up on the font. It's actually quite interesting. ^_^

I didn't realize how different the hilts of both scimitars were. O.O

Duuur... um, not really. There's just the stuff in the Reader's Guide, but I think Lockwood already pretty much has that all on his site.
Otherwise, all I can say is that they're both scimitars, so the way the weapon itself looks will be exactly the same on both. Otherwise, Lockwood does distinguish how they should look in the drawing that Yuki linked.

In the books Icingdeath is also incredible powerful against any fire elmental based beings, for example when he was fighting Errtu, Icingdeath almost acted as if it had its own life... In D&D terms i guest it would be like, an Attack bonus of like 5 agianst abyssmal beings, fire dragons, anything dealing with fire, it also added a fire resitance as well
Twinkle.... Im not sure, I might have to reread the books that Twinkle is envolved in, but he recived Twinkle from his Ranger mentor... Cant renmber the name, he finds out that it glows on command or.. whenever evil is near or something like that, not sure what else it does tho

When will they make it? I wouyld go out and buy it if they do.. THAT would be awsome in my opion...

I'd drop serious cash for that xd Heh no kidding, sure Twinkle and Icingingdeath are great for fighting demons, but Charons Claw, the Jeweled Dagger, AND the gauntlet... NOW thats power... Thats not even including the hat

I think Charon's Claw, the gauntlet, and the jeweled dagger would be awesome! Oi, and Jaraxle's hat?! I'm not going to openly drool like Minny did ninja I'll go drool in a corner far away from here. 4laugh
I think Taulmaril the Heartseeker would be neat too.

Taulmaril would be cool but I didn't like that Catti-Brie almost never used Khazidea (The cutter) which was a super awesome sentient blade that could cut through nearly anything. It seems like a waste, I would rather have seen it used than Taulmari.
