Saluton,
I'm Woglinde, I've been a guild member since pre-guild reformation times. I usually go by Woglinde on Gaia, but in a lot of other places, I am known as Donnerschlag, Kissaki, or Quetzal. (or sometimes Kissakisan or Quetzalcoatl.) So chances are, If you see someone with any of the usernames I mentioned above, most likely it's me (Except "Quetzalcoatl"; that one's starting to get popular amongst the "profound-sounding username"-seeking internet. xp )

In the past, I have practiced:

Tae Kwon Do (during the early days of Middle School)

Bruce Lee's martial philosophy commonly known as "Jeet Kune Do"

Kali (or "Arnis", in some circles. My knowledge is aquired second-hand from Dan Inosanto. I say that because I'm not sure what "school" he teaches, if you know what I mean)

And Tino Tuiolosega's Arts of Limalama. (Not to be confused with "Imua Limalama")

Anyways, if ya wanna chat, feel free to leave a comment or a PM.

Ah, part of m epiphany had basis in Kali. Through my dabblings, I've picked up fundamentals from each art I've looked into, and one of my favorite things I picked up from watching a Kali demonstration was instead of parrying the weapon (preferably the middle of your blade to near the end of theirs, to use leverage in your favor) to rather parrying at the opponent's wrist, disabling them.
Mix that in with a deep knowledge of Aikido, and a bunch of knowledge with Ninjutsu fundamentals and some JKD philosophy studied from Bruce Lee's Tao itself, and I'm starting to have a very viable art on my hands.
