A good half a mile long, halfway through the bridge, you'll find that the entire structure had been blown up and out. a bittersweet feeling comes around when you realize you're not getting across anytime soon. When police use a number of cranes or long boards to come across it takes too much time to prepare, and are then either killed or scared off the bridge by the prisoners that still inhabit the island.
Even H.A.V.E.N finds it difficult to get across, or even into the island. Saying that the best approach is through deception and going in one at a time. If they find you infamous enough, they gladly accept you in. But if you are ever caught working for the law, there's a one way ticket out, and that's through the barrels of the guns the prisoners have.
