Appearance: Jemmanine, or Jemma--as she prefers to be called--has always been called one thing since her early years--foxish. From her appearance, to her sly personality. She has long, sleek red hair that runs down to mid-back. Her long backs flare up, and frame her face delicately. Her eyes are a soft light blue color, that off-sets her personality. After all, who could decieve you, with eyes like those and a face so delicate?
Her skin is a little pale, adding to the delicate portrayal. She has a little muscle built, though not too much. Her parents never wanted their children to work, keeping them sheltered away. She ended up developing her birth mother's curves, and does not let them go to waste.
Personality: Jemmanine's 'foxish' appearence is reflected in her personality, as well. She's clever and quick-witted, using her femenine wiles to get what she whats out of life. Don't get her wrong, she loves a good challenge. Jemma will wait as long as she has to, if it means getting what she desires in the end.
The wily female does have a softer side, that she rarely shows to anyone. She loves children, though hasn't quite decided if she wants any at this point. She cares for anyone that has taken the time to befriend her, and will try hard to make them happy.
Jemma will occasionally have a small flash of anger, though these have gotten to the point where they are few and far between.
History: Jemmanine and her family was born into a small hold in the Keroon area, her parents presiding over the Hold. When she was small, she soon developed her 'fox' nickname, and it stuck quick with her family. She refused to let anyone call her by her full name, instead opting for 'Jemma'. She always tried to chop at her long red hair, wanting it as short as she could get it.
When she was roughly ten turns old, her parents revealed a big shock to her. She wasn't really their daughter, at least that was how she took it.
Before she was born, her father had another wife. A glorious woman with fire-red hair, charming spirit, and a wonderful figure. However, the lithe woman could not stand the hardships of pregnancy, and died during the childbirth process.
It was a miracle in itself, that Jemmanine survived. And from there, her father named her after her deceased birthmother. Her father remarried immidiately to the woman who reared her in her mother's stead, having just given birth to a small son herself, out of wedlock. She had red hair also, though it wasn't as glossy and fiery as her mother's. But the replacement was smooth.
After that shock was when a noticable change in Jemma. She started to allow herself to be called Jemmanine, instead of her nickname. Her red hair started growing out, to where it lays, mid-back. Her behavior became less wild, instead became refined and elegant. But her sharp mind never broke, and her free spirit always crafty.
It was a brown rider by the name of G'lel who had searched her, which had taken Jemmanine by surprise. She hadn't expected to be searched(In truth, she was planning to get him to take her to the Weyr, anyway..), and to have her 'brother' searched with her was delightful.
