Answer the poll please!
Ok. Now we have this new-fangled chatroom. Ryu suggested that we have the hatching over that instead of on the guild boards. Which would you rather?
Option A: over the boards, where the hatching can stretch for days and be slow-paced
Option B: over the chatroom, where the hatching is in real-time, fast-paced, on a specified day and time

Boards, definitely. The chatroom would be way too confusing, especially for someone who couldn't be on. They would have to wade through so many posts. It would be daunting ._.

The boards would be most beneficial to the entire Weyr, as I can only imagine what the lag would be like if we were ALL on the chat.

I concur with Poker. It would be horribly intimidating to veiw the hatching on the chatrooms. Especially considering if a new member where to view the continuous stream of Replies.

I would prefer the boards. If it were over the chatroom I would be unable to attend, as my computer is so slow and old that it wouldn't load it. I tried. ;___;

Though I don't particularly care as much either way, I'd say boards purely because then I'd be less tempted to go OOC

I think the boards too. The hatching may take a while, but that way we will all be able to enjoy it at our own pace.

Definately the boards!! People arent in the same timezone so not everyone would be able to get on the chat!!

Boards. Because I don't want my baby to have to carry that many people.
Also, I missed out on things in a fake Hatching. You can only scroll back so far, and if a person had to go away for a few minutes, they could miss a lot. Also, amusing things happen at Hatchings and I'd want that archived. >3
Also, I can't make long posts in the chatroom. Too distracting. -has priorities-
