"No problem, Kitty," N'gal replied with a smile. He gently picked her up and made his way down with Lumenth's careful assistance. He carried her into the infirmary and laid her on a cot just as the healer Aliana entered.
"What's the matter?" Aliana asked in concern.
"Broken leg," N'gal replied politely.
Aliana gently felt around the break. "It's not too bad. Now this is going to hurt but only for a bit." Aliana jerked quickly and hard, forcing the bone back into place. She put a splint on the leg. "Now you can't go walking around on that leg and if you need anything for pain don't hesitate to come here." Aliana turned. "Let me get you some crutches. N'gal here can help you get wherever you need going."

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Kitty nodded and held onto N'gal tightly as he took her to the infirmary. Her leg still hurt a lot, but she knew it wouldn't be long before it would be fixed. She let out a breath and swallowed, glancing to the healer as they entered the infirmary. Oh boy. It had been a long time since she had been here, and she cared not to come again. Last time had been with a rather bad cold.. and her mother had thought it was deadly. Oh the hysterics that woman could get into! Thank goodness she wasn't here now.
She smiled at the dragonrider as he laid her down and she shifted some as the healer knelt by her leg. Gritting her teeth, she expected the worst as the woman spoke and winced at the jerk. OW. Letting out a breath when it was over, the red head smiled to the woman as she put the splint on. Sighing softly, Kitty looked up at N'gal, then looked to Galith as she flitted around her head.
"Would you settle somewhere, Gally? I don't need you going into panic mode..." She said and Galith chirrped in annoyance, but finally settled on top of Kitty's head, her little green claws tangling into Katherina's hair. The red head rolled her eyes as she returned her gaze to N'gal.
"Thanks again, I really appreciate it.. I don't think I would have made it so efficiently had you not come to my rescue." She chuckled softly and shrugged.

N'gal smiled. "No problem. I'm a sucker for people who need help. It's a wonder people don't seek me out more often." N'gal grinned good-naturedly.
Aliana came back with a pair of crutches. "Those should work for you."
N'gal watched the healer hand Kitty the crutches. "Are you going to need anymore help getting around or anything?"
"I really must be going," Aliana commented. "If you need anything just stop by." The healer hurried out.

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Katherina took the crutches and made her way into a standing position. Looking up at N'gal, she nodded some and chuckled. She understood where he was coming from. Kitty liked to help as well, though she was pretty sure it was only when people asked. Not necessarily whenever she felt like helping. Brushing her red hair from her face, she glanced to the healer and thanked her. It was all she could to help and it was greatly appreciated.
Grunting and wincing at the slight pain in her leg, she looked back to the dark haired dragonrider and shrugged. "I'm not sure. It's possible I might need help, but you have your duties to attend to... I'm not exactly a weyrwoman or a dragonrider." She chuckled to herself and smiled brightly at him. Shifting herself around, she tried to make it to the door to leave the room as well, but her crutches slipped slightly and she winced as she had to catch herself on her broken leg. Galith chirrped in annoyance and in worry as she sat on Kitty's shoulder.

N'gal strode over and helped her up. "I'll take that as a yes. If nothing else I can walk with you and catch you if you slip." N'gal told her. "It's not a problem and if I really had to go I'd make someone else help you anyways." N'gal grinned mischeivously.
He did hate to see others in pain and broken legs were no fun. If there was anything he could do to make sure Kitty got where she was going with no mishaps he would do it, even if he did have to get someone else to keep an eye on her.

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Kitty looked up as N'gal helped her up. She smiled and chuckled at his remark and shook her head. He really was doing too much. As a dragonrider, he had his duties to do... and he didn't need to make someone else to come help her, either. SHaking her head some and sighed. Galith chirrped, however, in agreement. She seemed to like the idea of the dragonrider helping her mistress. It was about time the redhead sought out others. And especially a man.
Katherina shifted some and looked back at him, smiling. He was nice, though. There wasn't much else she could do but take his help. She knew her mother would appreciate it. Speaking of which, she looked back to the door.
"I should get to my mother... she would be worried." She said and sighed, not really wanting to cut their time short. She wanted to know more about this handsome dragonrider. Kitty sighed softly. If only she hadn't broken her leg.

N'gal smiled. "Alright you lead and I shall tag along."
She's probably not used to a rider helping so much, especially one who should be thinking about the next drill. Lumenth commented to N'gal.
The bronzerider tilted his head slightly as he contemplated this. "Lumenth was just telling me you might not be used to someone such as I helping so much. I should assure you that at current I do not have anything more important than escorting you, dear lady, wherever your heart desires. Besides, there's a good bit of the Weyr getting drunk right now."

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Katherina brushed her hair back and looked up at the dragonrider as he told her the thoughts of his dragon. Chuckling, she nodded. "Lumenth is smart. And he is right. I'm used to just being with the normal weyrfolk and craftfolk. Not so much with dragonriders... unless they're clients." Walking slowly on the crutches, she frowned. This was going to take a while. Galith crooned in her ear and then flew over to N'gal, circling his head. The red head chuckled. Well, the firelizard seemed to like him well enough.
The green flitter landed on N'gal's head and snuggled into his dark hair. Kitty rolled her eyes and sighed. "Sorry about Galith... I guess she likes you." Chuckling some, she sighed softly. Such a silly lizard.

He nodded as she confirmed Lumenth's thoughts. "I have heard you do good work." N'gal reached a hand up and gently stroked Galith's head. "I've never had the pleasure of such a small companion. I imagine they are much easier to clean than Lumenth is." N'gal grinned for a moment, knowing Lumenth would hear that comment. "You must enjoy her company."

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Kitty nodded and shrugged. "I've been told I do." She said and smiled at him. Watching as Galith crooned at him touch, she cocked her head. It was nice to see Galith warming up to someone else besides her and her mother. The green was a snooty thing, and was picky about her company.
"She is rather easy to clean. A few rubs of soap, a splash in the water and she is spotless." Chuckling again, she watched them a moment and smiled to herself. It was nice to be in this dragonrider's compnay. He was nice, and not overbearing and cross all the time like some.

N'gal sighed slightly as he realized the Resident Dormitory wasn't too much further. "I shall have to come and see your work for myself." He paused for a moment. "I wish it was so easy with Lumenth, but a few rubs suddenly turns to a lot of scrubbing and he has a tendency to want to get me wet as well. If it wasn't for the season I might just clean up with him considering how wet I end up." He grimaced comically.
I do not get you that wet. Only a little bit.
A little bit for you is a lot for me. N'gal grinned slightly. He loved teasing Lumenth.

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Katherina nodded some and chuckled. "I would like that." She said and smiled. It would be nice to have him come around to look at her work... an extra client and an extra good word put in for her work. Stopping a moment to flick her hair from her face, she sighed softly. Walking on crutches was hard work! It wasn't that far of a walk, but she already felt exhausted. Frowning some, she drudged on.
"I wouldn't doubt it. Lumenth is a fabulously large beast." She said as she watched her feet below, wincing a little.
Galith lifted her head from N'gal and looked to her mistress. She crooned worriedly and tugged on the dragonrider's head, as if to demand him to help her. THe green lizard loved Kitty dearly, and it pained her to see the red head suffering.
Kitty glanced back as Galith crooned and shook her head some. "You worrywort." She said softly to herself as she looked back to the dormitories. Kitty did regret the quick walk, however. She would very much like to stick around with N'gal.

N'gal moved closer to Kitty's side and helped her along the rest of the way. "You'll have to get used to those if you planning on moving around very much," N'gal commented, his dark blue eyes searching hers. He vowed inwardly to have someone keep an eye on her to make sure nothing happened to keep Kitty in crutches longer than she needed.

~Katherina, Kitty Kitty~ Kitty looked up as N'gal helped her along and smiled at him, her own hazel brown eyes watching his blue ones. They were so... hypnotizing. Blinking, she glanced away and nodded at his comment. "Yeah.. I know. I'll make it work." Sighing, she continued on and leaned against the wall that made the entrance to where she lived. Looking back at him, she shrugged. "I'll just make due with what I have."
Galith snuggled closer into N'gal's hair and watched her mistress with disdain. She would never do well if she tried too hard to go on her own. She needed N'gal's help! Ugh. So stubborn. The firelizard's eyes rolled in annoyance and tugged at the dragonrider. Keep helping!
Kitty watched her little pet and got up from the wall to keep going. Not too much further.

N'gal smiled down at the firelizard tugging at him. "I'll send someone to help you out or, if nothing else, I'll come by myself. Oh, are you going to try to attend the hatching?" N'gal waited at the entrance, watching and making sure she didn't fall after he had escorted her this far.
