I made a family with mother, father, grandpa, and son. They had a nice house, and I decided to kill the grandpa when everyone was his friend just to have fun. Uh-oh! My Dad stole the computer. He saved my game, and played poker for an hour. When I got back on, I resumed the game with the same family. Grandpa was gone! :O Where'd he go?!? I didn't kill him, nobody was sad, there was no gravestone. He was just...gone!

No, but that is really weird. o_o They don't have any memories of him dying?
That happened to me once with a baby, but I just quit without saving and he came back when I reloaded.

That wouldn't remove him from the relationship panel though or the family tree and they should still keep memories relating to him.

It just seems to me as though his character file got corrupted and the game has decided to treat it as though he never existed.

We may never know.

I think I had a similar situation once but I had been messing about with cheats. I had a single father and two children; a girl and a boy. I messed about with the boy and saved the game. The next time I played the game he had been booted from the family into the SimBin as an adult and the family had no memories of him.

If you find grandpa tell him i am looking for him.

Sounds like the file got corrupted or deleted somehow.
Do you use any cheats or add on not made by the makers.
I keep my games stock no add on from sites for they cause to many problems.
