Appearance: Falon has messy black hair that never seems to stay in place. His skin is a dark tone like what his commonly found in the deserts of Igen. Oddly his eyes are an amber color, which is not commonly found in desert areas.
Personality: Flambouyant. Impish. Falon enjoys playing pranks on all of his fellow man; be it male, female, young, or old; it doesn't matter to him. He likes to be the center of attention and thoroughly loves to do something totally inappropriate just to get it. Fortunately, he does have some redeeming qualities, even though he's a prankster, he'll show kindness to those who truly need it and will let you cry on his shoulder if your feeling down.
Then he'll perk you up more by doing something stupid.
However, when it comes to Thread, Falon is no fool. All idiocy is thrown aside and he becomes almost a different person in order to protect that which he cares for most.
History: Falon's origins are a bit shaky. Travelling merchants discovered the child in the remains of a ruined wagon. Due to the bloody remains and the ransacked wagons, the caravan concluded that the distruction must have been caused by raiders. Out of kindness, the merchants took him in as one of their own.
However as the child grew, his penchant for pranks and all manner of mischeif proved to be a constant headache for the caravan, and as a result they always made him go out scouting for potential food, water, and (in the more recent 2 years) Thread. In this, they dicovered that Falon had the ability to read Thread patterns and predict where the next fall will occur. Using this ability the merchants were able to rush to shelter before the horrifying menace made its appearance.
News of his ability spread. The merchants grew with new recruits every day. And it wasn't long before news of this boy spread to Telgar Weyr.
Now Falon finds himself in the grand caverns of Telgar. A candidate for a hatching.

Two things-
1. Thread only started falling two turns ago.
2. I don't think there's any way one can 'sense' Thread, and if they could, I think dragons or firelizards would be able to sense it before humans. An alternative idea to 'sensing' Thread, would be that he's good at calculating the Threadfall patterns and where it's going to fall next.
Need to change that up! But the rest looks good.

Thanks for your advice on Falon's 'sensing' ability. XD I was thinking that it would be sort of similar in the telekinetic abilities that Lessa has in 'hearing' all dragons...
Except his would be 'sensing' thread...
But your idea was more realistic. So I used that instead. XP
