Ivy: -stumbles and hurts herself- "damn."
Kindle: -rushes over- Are you ok?!?! -very worried-
Ivy: -raises an eyebrow at the kids worried behavior- "Yeah... sure... I'm fine." -starts to get up but doesn't quite make it- "I think I'm just going to lay here for a while though."
Kindle: -hovers worriedly- Well...i'll just lie down here with you then. -lies down next to her- Do you need anything? -tries to subtly look at her legs to check for damage-
Ivy: -nudges him playfully- "Dont worry so much Kindle, I'm Fine~ But if you REALLY want to help me, go get me some willow bark ok? can you do that for me handsome?"
Kindle: Yeah! -jumps up and looks around- I'll be right back! -heads for the forest before stopping and looking back- Are you sure you'll be ok?-eyebrows drawn together in concern-
Ivy: -rolls her eyes smiling even though her front ankle is killing her- "Don't worry about me kid, I'll be fine until you get back."
Kindle: Ok then... -takes off towards the forest at a dead run, narrowly avoiding the small trees that ring the clearing-
Ivy: -tries looking around for any small body of water to soak her ankle in-
Kindle: -slowing down as he realizes he could run right past what he needed, Kindle assessed the forest- Hmm...Willow, willow.... THERE! -he runs up to the weeping willow he spotted- Now to get what I need... -looking around for freshly fallen branches, Kindle gathers a bundle before heading back to the clearing-
Imf bfafck! -he tried to speak around the branches he's gathered- Mmm... -drops them next to Ivy- I'm back! And I made sure to only take branches that nature was done with, since I know you don't like it when plants get hurt. -looks at her front ankle- Oh no! What can I do? -nuzzles her to offer comfort-
Ivy: -stares up at him for a few seconds, not sure really what to say, it wasn't often she saw a deer carrying a bunch of branches around in their mouth like that, especially in such a hurried manner.. She shook her head at his innocence and picked one of the cleaner looking branches out of the bunch and pulled it over to her.- "Good Job Kindle." -she says before beginning to nibble on teh bark of the twig-
Kindle: -blushes at her approval- What else can I do? -he asks, lying down next to her again- What did you trip over anyway? -looking around to find the source of this problem-
Ivy: -rolls her eyes- "With my luck, the AIR." -smiles down at him and nips at his ear affectionately, like an older sister- "you're a good kid thinking about what I told you about plants and all."
Kindle: -wiggles and smiles when she nibbles his ears- I like to learn, so of course I'm going to listen to you Ivy, you're the smartest herla I know. -smiling up at her-
Ivy: -ego boost, so why the hell should she set him straight?- "Yup, probably, and I'll tell you what," -gives a conspiring look and leans in close to whisper- "When you're a bot older and you keep listening to what I say, I'll teach you the most important things of all."
Kindle: Oh! -looks up at her with big wide eyes- What's that?! -almost wiggling he's so excited-
Ivy: -begins to think maybe that wasn't such a good idea- "I'll tell you when you're older?"
Kindle: Oh... -looks crestfallen- Ok. -scuffs at the ground with his hoof- How's your ankle?
Ivy: -rolls her eyes and whispers in his ear- "Don't worry, when the time comes, you'll thank me for teaching you." -winks at him and pulls away- "trust me, I know what I'm doing." -looks down at her ankle which is slightly bruised but is back to normal size- "doing better thanks to you."
Kindle: -starts to wag his tail when she whispers in his ear- Ok! -looks at her ankle too- I'm glad I could help. Well, my da....I mean... -deepens his voice and puffs out his chest- Suvius told me what happens when herla are hurt where he's from. So I was really worried.
Ivy: -raises an eyebrow and gives Kindle a small half smile, totally amused with this attempt at a display at masculinity- "Oh really? Well I don't think I'd have to worry about that," -licks Kindles ear to watch his chest deflate- "Not when I've got you here to protect me." -is totally capable of protecting herself-
Kindle: -lets out a gasp when she licks his ear, loosing the air he had been holding- Uh...yeah... -he stutters out, blushing madly- Uh...-looks around for a distraction- Did you eat enough willow?! -his voice louder and slightly higher than it should be-
Ivy: -chuckling darkly to herself- "Um- yeah." -she repeats back teasingly-
Kindle: -gulps and tries to calm down- Hehe... -giggles in an attempt to cover his embarrassment-
Ivy: -rolls her eyes at the sad attempt- "If you want me to teach you the REALLY important stuff in life, you're gonna have to stop having that sort of effect if I do something like to you ok? You're going to have to act calm and cool. Can you do that?"
Kindle: -embarrassed even further but calms himself with an act of will- Of course I can. -suave like his father-
Ivy: -laughs and nudges his head with her nose, like a playful fist to a chin- "At a boy!"

Kindle: -preens then catches himself- I'm no boy. -lifts his chin and smiles down his nose at her-
Ivy: "Oh-ho ho, my mistake, that earlier blush of yours had me convinced you were still a child." -leans in close, with half lidded eyes- "prove me wrong. Kindle~"
Kindle: -his eyes widen slightly at her deepened voice, but he only betrays himself with a half cough- Anything for a lady. -he says smiling at her-
Ivy: -pulls her head back and shakes it with a dissapointed look on her face- "That was better, slightly, but you shouldn't have coughed, and next time, give suggestive look, like this." -super smexy look of smexiness-
Kindle: -schools his face into an expression much like Ivy's, but adds a sultry wink to it as well- I told you I liked to learn.
Ivy: -raises an eyebrow slightly impressed- "who know Kindle, keep this up and you might get extra credit."
Kindle: -smiles charmingly and raises his eyebrow- Extra credit? Sounds... -grins rougishly at her- exciting.
Ivy: -raises an eyebrow- "Kindle, you wouldn't know what to with 'Extra Credit' if you got it." -chuckles darkly- "Do you even realise what I'm teaching you?"
Kindle: -eyebrows quirk down as he falters slightly, but recovers with another grin- I've told you already, I'm a quick learner. I'll figure it out.
Ivy: look at you, so sure of yourself," -rolls her eyes with a small half smile on her face- "By the time you figure it out, it'll be too late, done and over with, and trust me, you only get one chance at 'extra credit' with me."
Kindle: Well then, you had better make sure I graduate before moving onto the extra credit, don't you think? -winks at her-
Ivy: -laughs- "When and IF you do good on the extra credit, that's when you graduate, because that Kindle dear, is when you'll be able to get, the um... 'extra credit' from any female you want."
Kindle: -thoroughly confused now but refuses to show it- Just tell me what to do, I'm under you power now. -wicked smile-
Ivy: -rolls her eyes one last time before giving Kindle a nonchalant look- "sex. That's what the extra credit is, sex."
Kindle: -a few seconds tic by before his responds- ...Sex? -thinks back to the conversation, realizing she was talking about 'extra credit' between them. His jaw drops open but he snaps it closed- Um... -a blush covers his whole body as he tries to reply- That would be very....educational. -trying to get hold of himself he falls back to the school analogy-
Ivy: -lets out a rp roaring laugh, and shakes her head, tears forming at the sides of her eyes- "Like I said, you've got to EARN the extra credit. Once you can get some from me, you can get it from any girl you choose."
Kindle: -still at a lose for what to do, especially now that she was laughing- Well...-a gleam appears in his eye- How well I do is entirely based on how good of a teacher you are Ivy. Can you handle it? -his smile is challenging, now that he's found his footing-
Ivy: -still laughing but it's dying down slightly- "alright Kindle, I'll be your teacher-" -holding back a few giggles, and gives him a serious look, spreading herself out next to him, with the best look she can manage given the fact that she's trying her damndest not to laugh- "Take me."
Kindle: -expecting this sort of thing for his first challenge, he had an idea of what to do- Hmm... -looking down his nose at her, he replies with a sardonic smile- Beautiful lady, I am not the sort of buck to pluck a flower before it has had a chance to develop and blossom, and I'm not the sort of gentleman to do the same to our time together. -slowly his eyes traveled up and down her prone form- Besides, you haven't taught me anything yet, and I would hate to disappoint.
-smiling he stood- Goodnight Ivy. -bows his head at her- We'll start lessons tomorrow? -he asks, smile still on his face-
Ivy: -completely impressed but not won over yet, stands and gets too close for comfort to Kindle, moving her hair out of the way and suggestively leaning in- "Sure, handsome, we'll start tomorrow." -licks his nose and leans in to whisper into his ear- "Good night... kid."
Kindle: -eyes flash at being called a kid- Good night....old lady. -he winks at her, and laughing, bounds away-
Ivy: -is left standing there, alone, and on a sprained ankle, with her eyes wide open and her mouth hanging- "I AM NOT OLD!!!!!" D< -looks around for Suvius to rat him out too-

Next day stoof
Kindle: -drinks from the river-
Ivy: -waddles over not wanting to put any weight on her bad ankle and leans her weight against him- "Hey kid, lower your temp ok? you're making my vines wilt."
Kindle: -supports her weight and gives her a wicked smile- What's wrong? Can't handle the heat? -concentrates and turns down the heat anyway- I see your ankle is still bothering you... You should stay off of it. -still concerned-
Ivy: -rolls her eyes- "Please, you aren't your father, I can handle you easily. Hell, I remember how excited you were over your first crush, there's no way you can be too hot for moi." -lowers herself to a lying position and extends her front hoof into the river to ease the pain- "I'm fine."
Kindle: -raises his eyebrow at her- Everyone has a strong reaction to their first crush Ivy, i'm sure you were no different. And who knows, I may have enough of my father in me to give you a run for your money. -lies down next to her- I'm glad you're ok... -huffs air out through his nose-
Ivy: sighs and gives a distant sort of look, as if she's reliving the past- "I was, he was a singer in the queens court, oh how I wanted him to look at me the way he did at his own love." -sighs regrettfully- "That's how I know you wouldn't give me a run for my money Kindle, I'm a bitter doe becuase of him, and I only us impressionable boys like you for my own advantage."
Kindle: -taken aback- Well, it sounds to me like this buck was blind and stupid. Why else would he have chosen someone else over you? -raises his eyebrow- And I may be impressionable, but is that necessarily a bad thing? -bumps her with his shoulder playfully- Cheer up beautiful, or else. -grinning at her now, a wicked gleam in his eye-
Ivy: -brought out of the past by the bump and raises an eyebrow at the gleam in his eye- "Oh please, isn't it past your bed time child?"
Kindle: -huffs- How's your joint stiffness old lady? -laughing he bounds out of her reach-
Ivy: "oh sure, go ahead and make some jokes, funny guy." -chews her bottom lip thinking up her next insult since chasing after him is near impossible-
Kindle: Everything I do Ivy, I do for you. -getting a little closer- I distracted you from your sad thought didn't I? -tilting his head in an adorable manner- I just want to make you happy.
Ivy: -sighs and shakes her head- "And now you've been established in the friend zone Kindle, that's a very bad place for males to be if they're interested in a doe. It means 'extra credit' is most likely, never going to happen with that particular doe. Good job."
Kindle: -slightly confused- Caring about a doe gets you put in the....friend zone? That seems very backward. If... 'extra credit' is going to happen, I would think they would want a buck that cares about them. -almost talking to himself as he tries to sort this out-
Ivy: well you see," -still soaking her foot- "Does SAY they want a sweet male that will listen and care about them, but really, when they get that, they feel that the male is being clingy, or they make them their friends for fear of losing a shoulder to cry on. what does REALLY want, is a number of things. But it all has to do with the way you go about it. The way you cheered me up, is the exact thing a FRIEND would do. the Second thing you said would have put you in the 'more than a friend zone' which gets you the possibility of a fling, but the first reaction usually cancels out the second, leaving you in the dreaded, friend zone."
Kindle: -still confused- So I should just ignore it when a doe is upset and just come onto them?! -slightly outraged-
Ivy: -shakes her head- "No, no! That will get you put into the jack a** zone that only loose or stupid Doe's will sleep with. The way you acted toward me when I told you about my first crush, that will get you the doe every time."
Kindle: -nodding, partially getting it- Give me another example. I want to make sure I understand.
Ivy: "Alright... lets say you come across a Doe, with a friend, and you think that doe is just really something else, what do you do to get her attention?"
Kindle: Well, i'd go and introduce myself to the both of them, and ask if they needed to be shown around. But while talking and showing them around i'd make sure talk to the doe i like a little bit more than the other. -ears flat on his skull- Is that right?
Ivy: -cringes at his response- "and see, THAT'S why you're still a virgin. You've ignored the friend. The doe you were interested in might swoon, she may say she'll see you again, but that's not going to happen, and you want to know why? Becuase you ignored the friend, and all she's going to do the moment you leave, maybe even while you're there is bash you." -looks at him point blank- "I think you're father was one of the best deer I've ever seen at handling groups of Doe's at a time. You have to divide you attention in such a way that BOTH of them are getting the same attention. and then, at the end, when you're parting ways with BOTH girls, you tell them what a good time you've had, but you look at both of them when you say that, and finally, you look the doe you're interested in the eye and say, 'I hope I'll see you both again sometime soon' "
Kindle: -ears now completely flat against his skull- But....doesn't that lead the other doe along? I don't want to hurt her feelings! -stricken at the thought-
Ivy: well, techincally yes, but think about how good you'll have made her feel. Females secretly liked being flirted with, it's similar to getting a compliment. And how can you compliment one person, and not compliment the other? It's just bad manners."
Kindle: -ears perk up at this- Oh... I see. So....flirt with all the does? -not 100% clear on this-
Ivy: -wiggles her head- "well, yes and no. if there's a random, lesser quality doe around by herself, I wouldn't nessecarilly suggest flriting with her. If you wanted to make her day maybe... but sometimes, you have to flirt with the ones that are abit more used to the flirting. Becuase the ones that don't, they tend to get a little... clingy. In a horribly bad way."
Kindle: Oooooh.... So I can only flirt like that with the girls that know what's going on? Otherwise they might get confused and think i'm being serious or mean? I see! -thinks on it- So I have to weigh each situation separately... -cogs are turning in his head-
Ivy: -nods, all proud of her yong grass hopper- "And that's what we call making an informed decision."
Kindle: -nods sagely even though he's only just figured it out- I shall be making a lot of those it seems.
Ivy: -smiles and laughs- "Well, from the way your mother and father look as adults, I'm sure you're going to have all the does clamoring to be your mate."
Kindle: -turns his head to the side and looks her up and down- Then everything is as it should be, no? -winks at her-
Ivy: -shakes her head- "No, not yet, you need something that seperates you from the rest of the males.... your father has his french you'll have Spanish! nothing gets a doe's attention like singing a spanish sinata to her." -sighs happily at the thought-
