This is where the avatar contest will take place.

RULES:

1. Maximum of 3 entries per person. Any more and all your entries will be deleted and you will be taken out of the contest, yes that includes the R.P. too.

2. Entry fee of 1000 gold, this covers both Contests, and no, you cannot only pay half if you're not participating in the other contest.

3. Any violation of Rules, Regulations, or T.O.S. will result in disqualification, and suspension/expulsion from the guild. In some serious cases it will also result in a report to an Admin.

4. Inappropriate Content. All submissions must comply with the Gaia Terms of Service. That means no nudity, extreme violence, or inappropriate/sexual themes, please.

5. Cost. Limit of 100,000 gold in making of Avatars. We are using tektek.org only! This is so you do not have to actually spend any money/gold on your designs, only imagination!

6. [Copyrighted Material Imitations. Entries which imitate a copyrighted character or setting (for example, something from a book, etc) will not automatically be disqualified, but if the copyright holder asks us to remove an entry from competition, we will honor their request. Proceed at your own risk! Also, please include the copyright info; name, reference, for example.

7. Hired Goons. Offering gold, items, or services to others to gain more votes or comments is not allowed. Asking nicely for votes and comments is fine, but paying for them is not. By offering any chance of compensation to others for voting or commenting, you are violating rules, and your entry will immediately be disqualified.

8. Glitches. No entries with major glitches will be allowed. This means no nude avatars, no invisible avatars, and no bald avatars. Major glitches are typically something that would significantly affect the base model, or reveal something that was not meant to be seen. Minor glitches which do not greatly affect your avatar are permitted.

9. Prizes. Eternal fame and glory, of course. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be given. Prizes are explained in the Avatar Contest Thread.
Applications must be made in the right thread before you submit your Avatar!

10. Entry fees are to be sent to advice4all she is our guild mule, and as such holds our prizes.
Fees which are given to the guild are not accepted and will be viewed as donations, they will NOT be refunded!!!

Title: Goddess Thetis
Description: Thetis was a goddess of the sea and the leader of the fifty Nereides. Like many other sea gods she possessed the gift of prophesy (which appears to be more focused during summer months) and power to change her shape at will.
Other: Because of a prophesy that she was destined to bear a son greater than his father, Zeus had her marry a mortal man. Peleus, the chosen groom, was instructed to ambush her on the beach, and not release his grasp of the struggling goddess as she metamorphosed into a host of shapes. The couple were afterwards married in summer, in a ceremony attended by all the gods of heaven, and she bore a son, the celebrated hero Akhilleus (Achilles).
In her desperate attempts to protect her son during the Trojan War, Thetis called in many favours from the gods. These included Hephaistos and Dionysos, both of whom she had given refuge in the sea as they faced crises of youth, and Zeus, whose throne she had protected by summoning the giant Briareus when the gods had sought to bind him.
