Let me just say that they all suck pretty much...
Skies of Arcadia is famished with a terrible story line that destroys the entire meaning of a good RPG storyline...
Kingdom Hearts I dont have much problem with this game, its just alittle childish at heart, which I dont mind all to much...
Chrono Trigger I have no idea what the hell it is so I already hate it...
Final Fantasy now a days is much better then it use to be, but still the original plot and storyline was far to emotionally devout at base and at best moronicly EMO!
Dragon Quest...dont get me started on this one...
With that said I have but one more statement.... exclaim BLARGH exclaim

Dude Breath of Fire a pretty sweet RPG, and they have always had a decent battle system.

You've never heard of the Chrono series of games, I may not have played Dragon quest but I've still heard of it, and from what I've seen I'd gladly pull a few mods on my PSX to play the first of the games, yeah you'd have to pull mod's it's a Japanese game, made by Enix before they got together with Square Soft to create one uber company. If you don't wanna pull the mod, go ahead, but be sure to have a spare system, their are different systems for set's of countries, only three if I'm not mistaken, that's why you can't just run to Japan every time a new system comes out and buy it before it comes out here, cause it's not only the disks that are different it's the power source, not compatible without risky mods to your power cord and source on the PSX, and also a fire hazard if you do that.
Sorry rambling, I'll try to keep that to a minimum.

I went with dragon quest because i remember when final fantasy was struggling to survive and dragon quest was its biggest rival. the thing about it is its made by the same company and has a unique story line that remings me of that first game of D&D. If i could have chosen two it woul;d have been that and final fantasy but out of the two... well i think theres just a lot of final fantasy that gives you more of a variety but dragon quest... well quality to quantity.

Elder Scrolls has not allways been a RPG, nor would it ever be a contest for FF, becuase there are more FF and there are more of the FF games to get the attention of players, there are only four Elder Scrolls games, where they are coming out with the twelfth FF.
Oh and about the comment on Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy being made by the same company you couldn't be further from wrong. Finaly Fantay was created and produced by Square Soft, an American based company, Dragon quest was created and produced by Enix, a Japanese based company, only recently did they become the same company under the name of Square Enix. It was a merger to broaden each companies selling space, now they don't need to compete with each other, and the games are sold in both the US and Japan. Sorry if you find me insulting, I just did a bit too much research on games at one given time. Like recently Game Stop and Electronics Botique Merged, don't believe me look it up, I did an economics asignment on it.
