Appearance: Bethany is 5'4" tall, and has shoulder length fiery red hair and brown eyes. Her skin tone is very fair, and almost ivory looking. It has been said that Beth has a simple grace to her appearance as she has never tried to make herself look more impressive with the coloured mineral powders that many of the other women her age seem to favour.
Personality:Beth is a hard worker, who prefers to be in the background than in the midst of all the action. Some people say this she is fairly quiet, but that's only because they have interrupted her while she was making outfits for the candidates or repairing riding clothes and harnesses. By many other people, Beth is known to have a great sense of humour and a talent for making even the most roughed skinned person break into a smile occasionally.
History: Beth was born at Fort Weyr, and was fostered with several of their riders and some of their older weyrlings. As a child she did not show interest in impressing a dragon like many of the other children and much preferred to sit and talk with the seamstress learning about creating clothing. The seamstress took notice in Beth's interest and her work, and started giving her private lessons. Shortly Beth was as adept at her mentor in repairing clothes and making new outfits.
After a few years the young seamstress heard that the Telgar seamstress was retiring to the Southern continent. She talked to her Weyrleader, and got permission to move to Telgar to become their replacement seamstress. Beth packed up her most precious possessions, and travelled with a friendly blue dragon rider to her new home.
