Welcome! As most of you know, I'm Fire and I'm a die-hard YuYu fan. YuYuHakusho is a rather popular anime and has a lot of fans, both intelligent and rapid. xd As most successful animes, YuYuHakusho was turned into a movie or in this case, 'movies.' In this thread I will examine all aspects of both movies inculding: The VA's, the plots, the villians and the animation itself. Feel free to talk about the movie's here as long as you stay on topic! scream And of course, besides for guild rules, I have a few of my own.

arrow No bashing the VA's, as in the person. You can say 'Oh Hiei sounded awful in the second movie' but not 'Hiei sounded awful, his VA sucks! mad ' get it?

Techinal Stats RunTime-60min/1 hour Genre-Action/Adventure Common Languages-English, Japanese, Japanese w/ English Subtitles Cast Yusuke-Nozomu Sasaki Kuwabara-Shigeru Chiba Kurama-NOT MENTIONED IN CREDITS(WTF?) Hiei-Yoshiyuki Hiyama Botan-Sanae Miyuki Koenmma-Mayumi Tanaka Koashura-Rika Matsumoto Yasha/Garuga-Takeshi Aono Box Summary Yusuke Urameshi is not exactly what you'd call an angel. In fact, some might call him down right develish. But when he dies in an accident trying to save a child, he finds himself in the Spirit World, too good for hell, but not good enough for heaven. Now Yusuke works as a half-dead, half-alive agent for Koenmma, son of the ruler of the Spirit World. This position does have its disadvantages, especially after Koenmma gets kidnapped, and Yusuke must find Koenmma to trade the Golden Seal of King Enma for his life.
The movie starts off with Yusuke and Kuwabara fighting some street thugs in a construction zone. Botan zooms in yelling 'Yusuke' and she lands so hard, it causes like, an explosion and all the thugs fall unconcious. When they're running(well Botan is on her oar, the boys are running) Yusuke is complaining that they're trying to enjoy summer vacation(what's the diffrence for Yusuke?) and that this better not be another stupid mission from 'his royal pain in the butt.' Botan tells them that Koenmma was kidnapped! They rush through the portal and into Koenmma's office.
We see George on the floor, crying hysterically. It's actually quite funny. xd It's him, Botan, Yusuke, Kuwa and Hiei. He explains to them that Koenmma and all of his employees(exculding Botan, for some reason) were at a vacation at the beach. Koenmma was trying to smash a watermelon( sweatdrop ) when a demon popped out of the sand and snatched him. The demon said that Yusuke was to bring the golden seal of Kind Enma to Lava Ridge(or something like that...a volcano basically) before sunset or Koenmma would die. Botan opens a secret chamber for them and Yusuke grabs the seal and runs off.

All of the movies sucked!! Well the dubb.
I watched it in japanese better with english subs. Yes, its great.
So far they only have two movies and some other films that we havn't seen in the US. its a little character film of each and one of them. We finally get to see Hiei in army clothes yesh!
Oh yeah they show a little hint on kurama's intro as well.
Ein no Hakusho is what it is called.

Hm... I would have to say the voice acting was the worst part about these movies. Yet, also the second movie was also called poltergeist report, wasn't it?
Ah, well in any case, I would have to say I liked the second movie more than the first. Though, in that movie, whenever Hiei would talk it sounded like he had something in his mouth. I suppose the voice actors weren't bad, but they were not a very wise choice for Yu Yu Hakusho characters.

It's like he has marbles or cotton in his mouth xp The Japanese voice actor for Hiei was awesome though 3nodding
