Hiya everyone in the LBG forum this is a sort of rant but please read on.... My ex gf was a supreme work a holic. She would rather do geography homework than spend time with me. She created work for herself to do. She always goes on about other friends, and over the easter hols when she was at home all the time she saw all her other friends but refused to see me. Then near the end she came over, we made out and she said how happy she was. Next day, homework again comes first.
I know school comes first to her and i understand that, but not a single lunchtime to spend with me, the person she is sooo happy with?
1)Did I do the right thing (for me) in dumping her? 2)Was I mean to dump her? 3)Anyone had any similar situations?

I'd actually say before the break up, to sit her down. Talk and discuss with her your feelings, it might be awkward, but she'll know. She might not know what you feel, because maybe homework is important to her, but you can always ask her, maybe she'll make time with you. I say a relationship have to be within two people, not one. Both parties need to have an equal effort in the relationship, and also equal space. You can't hang out together all the time, since both parties have their own life, nor can it be that both parties don't spend time, because then why have a relationship in the first place. She might have gone overboard with not hanging out with you, but yet make out with you and ignore you again the next day. Talk to her, I would suggest. If she doesn't change, find someone better, someone worth your time, someone who would make time for you, even if it's a little bit.
