Mockingbird sprinted throught the streets lit by twolegs lights, her head held high as she went past the kittypets' homes where the kittypets weren't allowed out. She soon climbed over a twoleg fence into an abandoned backyard. This was a well-known and easy hunting spot, because there was a huge, deep, twoleg-made pool with tons of fish swimming around hopelessly in it, where the cats who liked to swim did, and others just sat at the edge of the pool scooping out passing fish. Surrounding the pool was an overgrown garden that looked like a small version of the forest, where many mice and other prey scuttled around in the hundreds. Mockingbird looked around. There were no other cats there as far as she could see. That was strange. She shrugged it off and went over to the pool, where she soon stacked up a pile of three small fish. She waited patiently for a fourth to come by.

Night jumped down a fence. It was very over grown, he stopped and sniffed the air. He stayed here a lot chaseing off any cat. He neared the pond when he spoted a kittypet, but he didnt attack, for somereason he didnt want to.

Mockingbird didn't notice Night at first. She stared into the water, waiting for another fish. When it finally came by, she swiftly caught and killed it. She placed it on her pile, and turned back to the water. Then she saw the reflection of Night on it. She looked up.
"Hi!" she meowed.

Night was caught off gaurd by the cat being so nice, "This is my home." He hissed not knowing, as soon as he relised he was being rude he straightened up, "Um, I mean, what are you here?" He asked without hostility.

Mockingbird motioned to her pile of fish. "I'm catching fish, for my littermates. You see, they live with twolegs," Mockingbird smiled wider, remembering how she had picked up the word, "And they don't come out often. But they like the stories, and the prey, I bring back sometimes for them."
Mockingbird snatched up another fish.
"Isn't there enough prey here for more than one cat?" she asked curiously, motioning to the overgrown garden and large pool. She grabbed another fish, not even turning away from Night to catch it.

Night turned the other way, he knew this was ture but he wasnt used to sharing, he was used to fighing. "So your a kittypet?" he asked tessing her. He stood and walked closer, then she relized how thin he was: that you could see his ribs.

"Well, I wouldn't call it that. I only go back if I'm visiting my kin, or if I'm sick. That's all, and I don't let those twolegs near me, unless they want an eye clawed out. And they can never catch me," she said, matter-of-factly.
Then she saw how thin he was. She meowed curiously, "And how can you live here and look like you're starving? No offense," she added quickly.
She turned away briefly to scoop out two more fish, and placed them carefully on the pile.

Mockingbird looked at him more closely hearing this, now realizing why he looked so weather-worn, if you could call it that.
"Why travel?" she asked, though she traveled some nearly every day. She caught another fish.

Nights eyes glowed like a younge cat again (not old he would be like a senior warrior) "THe excitment, not knowing whats going to happen tomarrow, what dangers you face, not knowing that this could be the last day or the first day of the rest of your life." Talking about this made him feel like he could anything.

Mockingbird looked up at Night, surprised at what he had said. "Really?" she asked after a little while.

Mockingbird smiled, "Tell me about them? I, too, travel, but I usually don't spend long enough in one place to have unbelievable adventures," she sighed, scooping up another fish.

The ears of Nights head truned red, 'This is my chance,' he thought, 'to immpress her.' "Well one time (*Flash back lol*) I was trveling, pass the clan cats territory, I had been spying on them for a few days, you know, learn battle moves and such. I had been traing in every way; pushing my self up the trees, though the water, other the hills, and deep into the dark territory of Shadowclan. So anyway I had just left, past the old twoleg den when a heard a sharp yelp to the North/west. So I went to nispect it, I came pass some bushes, when there was a sudden drop, and I slid ito the crater. I was blinded untill the dust cleared but I new things were growling at me. It truns out that I had landed right ontop of the queens den of the foxes. THere were to many to count, they all shouted there battle cry, covering the only exict." He pasued to see if she had any questions, or comments.
