First Tkd post 3nodding Where do you train? How long? Which set of forms do you use? How do you get along with the instructors/students? What is emphasized, technique, form, fighting, etc.? Anything else you have to tell really...

Huzzah, some one taking initiative! Go you! biggrin
any way, i don't know much about TKD, besides what my instructor says (he was a black belt in TKD...but...it didn't help him much apparently) and well, that isn't normally good. normally he calls it take your dough.
so, how giving my a postively biased opinion? as well as a little background ^_^

Well, its a hard style- not much faking and extra movement, just get your foot or fist to the other guys head as fast as possible. I like it because while we do condition, its more nonstop kicking and fighting drills than just running or burpees, though we do that too... Form and technique are important... yea, it makes me happy inside.
I started when I was 4, made it to green belt around age 8, and had to drop out because my brother quit and my ma couldn't get us 2 different places at once. Came back earlier this year when a friend told me she found a school and I'm up to brown belt. My grandmaster is Kyongwon Ahn. When I was little I did WTF, but with this school it's UTA, which is ok.
