you do it all whilst meditating. i've taught a few of my friends how to do it, with good results. it was more me talking to them whilst they were doing it though.
mine isn't so much of a room: i call mine the garden of angels. i came across it during a vision (described in a different thread) and i recreated it as my astral room. i don't have much time to meditate anymore, so i haven't been there in a while. actually, i'm going to set aside some time and go there for a while.
ok, so to the point: i can help you!

Can you help me as well? I found an interesting place. Okay here's what happened: I was meditating and I started hearing this chant in the back of my mind. "Peace, Quiet, Tranqility." Over and over again until I started to chant to, I passed through a really dark place and ended up in this BUETIFFUL(sp) garden. Sitting beside me was Bast (egyptain protectress of cats and children) She smiled at me. Then I lost my trance. (The bus moniter bugged me) crying crying I've been able to find my way to the garden but never with Her in it. crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying

I've never been to an astral place, so I wouldn't know how to help.

You know when you get that big crash feeling when you're sleeping, and then you suddenly wake up? I read somewhere that that was your astral body coming back to you! If that's the case, I must have had a lot of OBEs without remembering. ^^

If that's the case, I must have had a lot of OBEs without remembering. ^^ Hmm interesting, although I don't think that Dreaming counts as OBE because you're still inside your body (Most of time anyways) and you mind is just making images, although it may not always be your mind doing it, as I've experienced in at least one dream recently where I interpereted it as a lesson taught by someone other than myself. Not sure how much of that made sense but oh well.

an astral room is like your special little place you go to when you meditate. you have two doors in it, one to go back to conciousness and another to go onto the astral plane. because the room is yours, it can be wherever, it could be a garden or whatever, and you can have whatever you like in it.
