I think it would be a good idea if we got our wise and sage heads together and came up with some sort of guide that would help educate people who either A) Want to learn more about this area or B) want to learn how to support a friend or family member through said area.
Keep it nice and simple, so it's easily understood, but I think it would help us as it would allow us to establish what works and it would allow us to increase our member's skillsets. Also, for people coming here looking for advice, it would go some way to helping them help themselves and their friends.

Guuuh.. Like.. A guide of some good ideas?
Thinking about it now it does sound very difficult and people can get help by just asking so... Yeah. Nevermind. xD

I think it sounds like a good idea. you could talk about things like... how to approach a subject, where to get correct info, and how to sort though the filler that some people add to the problem and see right to what is the core central problem and address it.

Tama Hoshi I think it sounds like a good idea. you could talk about things like... how to approach a subject, where to get correct info, and how to sort though the filler that some people add to the problem and see right to what is the core central problem and address it. I was actually hoping you would write one for family issues, as it's something I always struggle with! I never know what to say to someone. Especially when they are in a situation that isn't serious enough to warrant them stealing away in the night or whatever.
