So what do you think of the new zOMG mini-monsters? Love em? Hate em?
I think they're neat, and it's nice having a bunch of new booty grab fish, but their very short lifespans is a big downer. Also, most of them stay on the bottom of the tank, and I find that makes the game harder to play. I just played a tank with 8 of them, and couldn't see the power-ups/downs at all for the most part. Awkward.
I won't be buying any. With such short lives they would have to be very very cheap for me to get my "money's worth" out of them.

I bought a few because they are supposed to have a higher BG payout due to their short lifespan and hey, they're new, but I haven't grabbed from any yet so I can't really say yet.

Not really impressed... I like a few of them though... the one I really want is the shark... but I'm not gonna pay the current market price for them...

they are super cute, i have a couple in my other avatars' tanks.. i want the Water Spout, but i'm not going to buy one.. they cost too much, and with their short life span i'm not convinced i would make the gold back let alone profit from it..

I don't know enough about the mini monsters to even think about purchasing them.
What are their trigger rates and gold payouts? Exactly how long are their lifespans? What are the odds of getting each monster, and how do their stats differ from each other?
I'm also not very pleased about this basically being another form of the RIG.

They might be bringing out more later that have more flying or above monsters..they are neat..and actually being on the bottom is just as easy to me as the gold falling overhead...they seem to be worth the buy ...got some for my mules and finally put one in this tank. They are worth the gold, so to speak...the more they are, the more they give out, just like other fish.

Far as I'm concerned, their short lifespans makes them not worth buying. They simply don't live long enough to earn back your gold. Nice fish - nice booty - but too short lived.

I have a couple. Idk bout buying more than say 3-4. But any less than that could potentially pay themselves off if you buy the cheaper ones. I want the shark, duneslam, and waterspouts.

I bought the ones I have mainly because I think they're cute. I love the cows! whee Probably not the best for booty, but that's okay for me.

I may be fixated on using aquariums for earning gold (probably too fixated redface ), but buying fish for the pure enjoyment you get from them is totally valid as well. Very valid. After all, when it's all said & done Gaia is about having fun isn't it? And if you're having fun then it's all good right? biggrin

i added to my mule (my fairy friend) 5 blue gnomes, 3 red gnomes and 1 yellow gnome (major) and 1 kokeshi doll - that army of gnomes is awesome for booty grab and will easily pay for themselves - my mule tank went from earning 250 per day to about 2400 per day with the gnomes - the blue gnome (inhabitants) spew huge amounts of yellow gold close to the ground and are easy to grab - they trigger very frequently and 4 blue gnomes alone give 500 - 800 booty grab - even for a short life i think a really good fish

You may be right fairy seeker - and I hope you are. If Gaia published proper specs for their fish we could figure this stuff out instead of guessing all the time. sad
