Personality: Melayn is somewhat submissive, but will stand up for herself when necessary. She likes to blend into the background, but, as a Harper, that's sometimes difficult. She makes friends easily, but is also easily hurt by what others say.
History: Melayn was born in Ruatha Hold as the daughter of minor holders. In her twelfth turn, Melayn's parents and older brother were killed in a fire. An aunt sent her to the Harper Hall to keep from taking care of her. In the Harper Hall, Melayn was trained to sing, but was denied her Journeymanship at first because she had esteem issues which resulted in her being unable to perform her required solo in front of the Masters. She was able to get up the nerve to sing and finally made Journeywoman.
